Baxter Jr's tip dunk was SICK.
I saw the talent in those over summer videos and even last season...but this is concerning.
Partially because they are pushing him to be some sort of offensive focal point but that should be the least of his worries for now. Still. You’d think he’d look better going up against scrubs.
AKME, we may have a problem.

It's valid to be sceptical as to whether he will ever be a star, but I'm personally giving him until his 3rd season to make a clear evaluation on him, just because he is still so young and that it takes several seasons for players to put it together, even eventual stars.
Same here, and to be clear I feel pretty good about his prospects of being a Marvin WIlliams-level quality role player. He's always going to be a useful player, IMO.

Pat is looking better. He just isn’t or isn’t yet able to be the #1 guy. He probably plays best as a complimentary player.

Gonna ignore the score...
But Ayo is pretty good defensively. Seen him get beat a few times only to recover and contest a 3 without fouling.

Does anyone else think Patrick's catch and shoot looks a bit quicker? He had a slow release and he holds the ball out in front of his body, so it was difficult for him to get up enough volume.
The shot looks tight and quick so far, at least off the catch

I like what I see from Marko. Not worried about Pat not being #1 guy - he isn't even 20 yet.

I thought Simonovic was a 3 point threat?
If not, why did we not fill in the roster with some floor spacers?

I always liked Labissiere's offensive talent. I think he was a bit of a victim of being drafted at the height of the anti-big man movement. His defense has always been meh (though he can block shots), but he could be a decent depth signing at the 4.

Early on, Simonovic has quietly been our best summer league player.

Marko looks nice.
Doing a lot of the the little things, good motor, seems to have a high bbIQ and always be in the correct spot.

Ayo looks great at recovering, he's contesting everything.

Javonte Green is 6'4". People keep characterizing him as a SF. This new NBA is hard to get used to.
