Im just glad guys are getting reps. Only Marco and Pat will play on the real team.
That's what I'm sayin, PWill is being a aggressive and Marko is showing me positive things, that's about all I'm looking at during these games.

Good stretch for Ayo. He's really effective in transition.

Ayo is a ball hawk. He's showing how he can contribute as a rookie even if his offense still needs some polishing

Everyone ripping Pat (certainly not completely undeserved) but he's still got 19 points on 14 shots which is solid.
He's made some good moves, just hasn't been great finishing. Definitely needs to clean up his handles in the half court, he can push in transition.

Re: Game Thread: Bulls vs Spurs Summer League (6PM CT/NBA TV)
Patrick/Ayo/Marko are frankly 90s Bulls types of role-players.
They're gonna need stars to carry the offensive weight, and they're gonna need a good system, cause asking them to create plays out of thin air is going to result in some of the ugliest iso basketball known to man.
I think they all have the right attitude defensively and passing-wise to be great team players.
I keep saying it so I'll shut up after this time, but I don't see Patrick's on-ball creation game ever developing into star caliber. We can bury the Paw/Klaw talk. His x-factor strength can be scoring and passing with his back to basket on switches. Needs to learn how to use his size, period.
His length and hands are in his favor. His shooting stroke is sweet. I see a different type of star caliber. Very rich man's Deng or small Dray, whatever you'd call it.

I'm not sure if Marko can play this way against NBA level talent but I'm very impressed with his positioning, if he can do this against more athletic guys he's going to be a really solid rotation player for us this year.
