Watching this game reminds me of how much I miss old-school NBA defense. It's underrated how fun great defense can be to watch, especially when it leads to transition baskets.

Honestly the only thing he needs to truly do for us is shoot a higher volume of threes and see if he can be more aggressive for us on defensive. That alone will get him paid like an elite role player.
If any of this individual on ball skill comes around then we might be able to visualize an all star ceiling a little more readily.

Yup, could be interesting. If he pans out, Coby ends up being that trade piece.
Nah. Coby can shoot. We need shooters.

He's certainly going to get plenty of open looks playing next to Derozan, Vuc, Lonzo, and Zach.

Williams has been so much looser in the second half. From a confidence standpoint, this has got to be great for him. Sometimes you need games like this to help you realize how good you're capable of being.

I only tuned in late but both Pat and Ayo are looking really nice. Pat seems to know he's the best player on the floor

Pat's the best player on the court again, just gave them 2 big buckets with the game on the line. It's crazy because he's probably the youngest player still in this game.

Nothing in basketball drives me more nuts than watching a big man hold the ball low in the restricted area. You'd figure that Simonovic learned to not do that while playing in Europe.
