I don’t think its a good idea to sign veteran players who expect to play to just sit on the bench, this is probably half the reason PJ wasn’t retained. Like wanting Milsap to do **** all on the bench would accomplish what? I think I’m good, we don’t need or want some crazy 11 man rotation.

DSJ could be a nice last roster spot guy I’d take him over Bryant any day

Dennis Smith Jr. has to be in the overlapping 99th percentile of the "wasted potential vs. freakish talent" Venn diagram. He's just an incredibly bad basketball player and I'm not sure he ever gets it.

I always like to look back at Monta's stats and it never ceases to amaze me how bad a player he was for the numbers he put up. 2009-10 Monta is probably the greatest "empty stats" season of all-time. Just incredibly awful advanced and impact numbers (-11.4 on/off, 16.7 PER, .023 WS/48, 51.7% TS) for a guy who averaged 25/5/4/2 in PTS/AST/REB/STL. It's almost inconceivable to think you could be that much of a negative while putting up those box numbers.

I still doubt Bud even likes SGs.
Maybe he will just use Ojeleye at the SG position much like he did with PJ and Forbes at the bench.
So the whole Donte and Allen extension debate could be muted by the Ojeleye extension. I am pretty excited though cause we have players that gave the will to sacrifice themselves on D, like Donte, Allen and Ojeleye. My only concern is that we need someone to really shoot the 3 well come playoffs. Nwora can be our scoring punch coming of the bench if Portis hands catch a cold

Edit: I still think our Death Lineup is Jrue,Semi,Khris,Pat, Giannis (Semi at the PJ role)
I believe Donte and Allen will have to be really good in order to change Bud's mind & scheme

What money do the Bucks have left to bring in talent, and would Frank Ntilikina be a good fit?

We have a like 1.9m sized tax MLE and minimum exceptions. The tax MLE is barely more than the minimum exception for players with 5 or less years of experience in the NBA, but allows you to offer up to 3 years (rather than 2 with the minimum exception).

We've got 1.9 left of the MLE and the minimum exception. I think Frank would be a decent fit in that he's a multiposition defender and a team first guy, plus he's money from the corner.

With Kalaitzakis signing a 3 year deal, seems like we're looking at:

1) Whether we'll carry 15 on the NBA roster
2) If yes: Bryant, Thanasis, or door #3?
3) Who's the 2nd 2-way?

Dunno why you’d keep Bryant around

Holiday/Hill
Donte/Allen/Pat/Bryant
Middleton/Hood/Nwora/Kalaitzakas
Giannis/Semi/Diakite
Lopez/Bobby

Two-way: Mamu

I think they still waive either Bryant or Diakite (or both) to make room for Thanasis. Feels like that 2017 offseason where we all just kind of assumed Jason Terry was gonna be back on the roster and had to wait until mid-way through August for it to finally happen.

Never thought I'd be saying this, but If Thanasis doesn't get a big offer to go back overseas, I'd really like to have him back in the fold. Think he really helps balance out the team with his energy and positive attitude. He's also a huge support system for Giannis. Perfect for that 15th spot.

Making them cancel their Christmas plans is **** up but the part of that thread describing the abuse he put them through at that practice literally putting Larry Sanders health at risk, physically and mentally, jumped out to me. Made me understand how someone who maybe wasn't the most stable person anyway might be pushed over the edge or at least that being subjected to this kind of stuff definitely would've been a contributing factor.

I don't think it's a surprise that Kidd is a piece of ****, it's a little surprising to see just how big of a piece of **** he is and how the NBA keeps employing him.
