You don't lose weight on a vegan diet. I've been on one for a year and I'm still the same weight.

ur not a professional athlete

You're right. It's even easier for a pro athlete to maintain a healthy diet.

Plenty of pro athletes are vegan. Djokovic, GOAT tennis player is vegan. Hamilton, GOAT F1 driver is vegan. Lots of NBA and NFL players are vegan. There are Olympic weightlifters who are vegan.

If Cade has lost weight, and we have nothing to go by other than the "eye test" for that, it has nothing to do with whether he eats meat or doesn't. You can lose (or gain) weight by eating anything.

You are not going through the same training as an nba athlete is my point. He definitely does look lighter and i am only suggesting it may be due to the vegan diet mixed in with being his regiment of being a pro athlete.

These are all subjective opinions though. I love that Nurse is able to adapt and try creative things but I hate how people just dismiss all that Casey did. We were a joke before he arrived. A bunch of players grew under him like Lowry/Demar/Fred/Siakam/Powell. There are pros and cons to every coach.

For me, unless I am able to compare apples to apples, it is hard for me to say one coach is clearly better than another. Pop looked great during Duncan's entire career and now looks like an average coach. Larry Brown looked great with the Pistons but looked like a joke with the Knicks. Stan Van Gundy looked great with the Magic but a joke with the Pelicans, etc.

I think people here questioning if all these good stuffs are Casey, or did he take credit of other people.
I guess Casey can prove himself in Detroit. How do you think he was doing in Detroit so far?

Obviously not good but that's because the roster is absolutely trash. How do you think Nurse would look in Detroit? How did Nurse look last year when we were trash and he was fueding with Siakam?

I think Nurse looks better. I don't think our roster is any better as sitting VanVleet, Lowry and Siakam, but we played better basketball, and played to our strength. Nurse not only knows more than X & O, he also knows how to put our players to success. Casey to me, not so much. Only asking his players to do what he thinks, but Nurse would ask his players what they think as well (eg. know what Leonard wants to do, and put him in success with mid-range and stuff).

So I have to disagree as I looked at the approach and believe Nurse would be a better coach.

if I may, please don't randomly drop GOAT like that
Federer is the GOAT (Class does matter in tennis)
Senna is the GOAT (2. Prost 3. Schumacher 4. Hamilton(Stuttgart has done most of his driving))

Totally OT, but I need to respond lol.

Djokovic has objectively achieved more than Federer. Class doesn't mean ****. Jordan was a dick, but you wouldn't argue that he isn't the GOAT because of it.

It is Tennis tough, the "gentlemen". Class matters. Sampras had outstanding "class" as well. Sorry for the OT though

cult member to the rescue.

the diet is perfect, we're all misinformed.

perhaps, the premise is that a 20 year old cade, didnt is still learning how to efficiently be on a vegan diet, as there is a learning curve. Perhaps, he made a few misteps which led to him losing some size and strength.

also, way easier for Djokovic to effectively go vegan as a 30 something year old with 100 million in the bank, than a 20 year old cade that probably only read a few google articles.

There is absolutely nothing to suggest that Cade's weight loss, if real (again, people are basing this on an "eye test"), is unintentional and caused by his diet. You are pulling an assumption completely out of your ass.

It was weird watching the Detroit - Houston game which was pretty bad basketball, and they were so fixated on showing the key match-up with Cade and Green. I mean I get it, but I felt like Sengun was the best player on the court.

21 points, 8 boards, 4 blocks, and 3 assists. He had more assists than Cade.

I actually wonder if Toronto had him high on their board. He'd be a kind of leftfield four pick that Toronto would have been famous for.

Josh Christopher is a whole mess of energy that can go wrong but he plays with a ton of heart. He is super strong and looks like he will be able to bully his way into the lane. Reminds me of THT. Houston absolutely slayed in their draft.

Royals and tom cruise went to the euro cup final ;)
to be fair if royalty attendance is the imporant part its kind of limited to being hosted in britain in london because they dont go anywhere - also a bit racist in a historical-precent sort of way

of course im sure the king of Monaco attends the grand prix

Lesotho and Morocco are also constitution moarchies, Eswatini is an absolute soverign so lets check what events they host and attend.

That would be a gross management of assets. It's one thing to take Barnes at 4, he was slated to go 5 anyways.
Sengun ended up going 16, taking him at 4 would have been insane.
