It’s the eye test

You can’t even make a legit take by the eye test right now. We all knew Scottie is raw and will need development. Shot is already showing growth

And he’s been parked in the corner and barely had the ball. The team is showcasing the scrubs for the 905 and seeing what the other guys can do. You really can’t judge Scottie off of that half

ya, I do not get that at all when he's probably our best playmaker...

It’s not overreaction as much as it is people just seeing Barnes when he’s not playing well. What we’ve seen is a lot of what he did at Florida State. He’s been fine if your expectations for year 1 are realistic.

they were giving lots of guys looks but the lineups look super disjointed. lots of creators, no finishers. poor fit and balance on offense.

Flynn doesn't have a good feel for the game. He's very mechanical. Seems like a guy thats never played outdoors in his life, but done alot of drills.

Barnes is a pf. He should develop a post-up game.
He doesn't look fluid enough to be a guard.

He kind of reminds me of a Chris Webber

Webber was a legit 6'9.5" w/o shoes. He'd basically be a C in today's game. In his prime, he was very, very difficult to handle around the basket except for the best interior defenders.

Barnes is 6'7", though long armed (Weber was long armed as well). He's not going to be the interior scorer Webber was in his prime. He has elements of bigman and wing in his game. He's a talented guy, but never struck me as a guy who will be a big time scorer. He looks to me like a high level facilitator who does something of everything and can also score some.
