Barnes waking up now, love how he;s getting to the line at will. no offensive fouls like siakam but hitting freethrows like whiteside

Barnes being able to get to the rim off the bounce without a screen the last few possessions is encouraging. His finishing skillset is extremely raw though.

Just from an eye test alone Barnes is so long and PHYSICALLY dominant.

Kuminga is already playing like a star. Barnes looks all confused out there especially on defense

I wish Barnes was a little more athletic and had that mentality to take it strong to the rack like Precious does.
If you're 6'8 or 6'9 or whatever under the rim you shouldn't be trying to lay it up or taking it softly dunk on mofos

He's not going to be a 1st option.

That could be a problem considering Siakam will also never be a good first option....so that leaves who exactly as our defacto no.1 option? FVV?

He was never a pass first guard y’all don’t watch the games. He can manipulate a pick and roll with the best of them cause he can’t do nothing without a screen,

Anyways I heard the pass first stuff last preseason then watched him come into games always looking for his, he passes when he can’t get a good look.

He’s not athletic like that, the combine tricked our front office.

Stationary work out drills is not the same as in game athleticism.

Barnes has terrible balance, crap lateral movement and extremely weak fast twitch muscles.

Loving Scottie's offensive aggression. If he get to the line 5 or 6 times in the future watch out.

Projects are cool. You draft low and hope you can get a bargain and... Oh he was 4th.

Mobley was drafted second

And Cade, Green and Suggs. All projects.

When you look at his tape, he needs time and space to load up to jump. He's not that bouncy as you can probably see
