To those who are panicking:

were you actually expecting Barnes to be better than Suggs in the summer league?

Suggs was always the nba ready prospect. Not to mention that Summer league is always more beneficial for guards to jack up shots

He could benefit from some G League experience but I think he could be a good role player in a year or so. As a fellow Canadian, I wish him a long NBA career!

99 percent of this board would have taken Suggs right up until the point Barnes was drafted and they became his biggest backers.

Exactly who else do you want taking shots on this team right now. He's the best guy out there.

It’s hilarious that this fanbase now thinks Masai is a fraud because of two summer league games

Then why are we all watching?

You got scouts who make selections based on combine results. It’s not a perfect science.

Foh
It's entertainment. Do you actually take this seriously lmao

What part of eye test do you not understand? Technically the NBA finals for us in 2019 was entertainment. What’s your point? Lol

Barnes will be fine. It’s just one game but I am able to tell what type of player he is. There’s a good chance we won’t be drawing final possession plays for him in a game 7 in the playoffs.

I’ve watched Suggs and Barnes play over a dozen times each in college. One has an offensive game in the half court and one doesn’t.

The one that does isn’t the Raptor.
You might need to watch more tape if you think Suggs was a great half court shot creator at Gonzaga

Did I say Suggs was a great half court shot creator? No I said he had a half court offensive game. Barnes doesn’t even have a semblance of that.
