Tonight's game is ESPN's Wednesday Night game.
Let's hope we continue to win and don't disappoint. Go Braves

The Braves come back from 3 runs down, to beat the Cardinals 7-4. The Braves broke the streak of going back and forth with win, loss, win, loss, etc since All Star break.

The Braves rally late and beat the Cardinals 8-4, to get the sweep! The Mets lost last night, Philly is .5 game back and the Braves are 1.5 back. The Braves scored 4 consecutive runs in the 8th, with the bases loaded, due to walks.

This is the first time all season, that the Braves have been over .500.

Pretty sure I've never seen 4 straight bases loaded walks before. All the trades the Braves made before the deadline are looking smart now. Being above .500 really feels good - gotta keep that up.

I don't think I have either. Unfortunately I work at 6 am, and went to bed after the inning Joc tied it a 2-2 with a HR. Hopefully I can watch the highlights on my MLB.TV app.

Agree the trades are looking good so far! We also get TDA, Anderson and Ynoa back soon! Joc is killing it and our hottest hitter since he was acquired. Hitting .324/.387/.529 with an .916 OPS 3 HR 13 RBI, 22 hits in 68 ABs. He's raised his batting average from around .215 to .250, since the trade.

It was nationally televised, so I got to see it. Joc's homer was huge, and Riley's was even bigger. I think Joc's OPS since the trade is about a thousand. And it's fun to have Soler power in the lineup - he's a physical freak. And Duvall has somehow become a much better defensive OFer than I remember. He had a bunch of plays, so watch him - his arm looked especially good. Sorry for the spoilers.

You're not spoiling anything. I was watching on ESPN, but will check the app for highlights. I want Joc re-signed and Soler too if the DH goes to NL.

Braves won 5-4 today, win series vs Nats. Philly now NL East leader, Braves second 2 games back, Mets third 2.5 back.

Man, the Mets just can't hit. Braves really should have swept the Nats - losing the Saturday game with our closer giving up a 3 run homer in the ninth for a 3-2 loss. And made it close again on Sunday. Nats are done as far as competing for the next few years - going with a total rebuild. We have another series with them starting on Friday - really should sweep that. Tomorrow starts a series against the tough Reds. If we go 2-1 against them, that would put is in good position. Philly's got a tough schedule coming up - first the Dodgers and then the Reds.

The Braves beat the Reds 3-2. Duvall with a 2 run HR to tie the game, later Vogt drew a bases loaded walk, which scored the winning run for the Braves. The Braves are 1 game back in the NL East!

Braves win 8-6 on an Albies walk off 3 run HR. The walk off shouldn't have been needed, the Braves were up 5-2 in the middle of the 7th, but Jackson and W Smith combined to allow 3 runs and the game tied. Luckily Albies came through.

Will Smith needs to be in the 7th or 8th inning role and Rodriguez the closer. Smith blows saves and allows too many HRs. A waste of 40 mill and AA's worst move as Braves GM.

I was going to say the same about Will Smith. He's been the weak link lately. If not for Albies' heroic homer, Smith would have cost us another game - like he did against the Nats.

If we can sweep the Reds today, that'd be huge, but the odds are bad. Muller's had some good games, but he looked real bad in his last game - his fastball velocity was down, and he threw several wild pitches and hit at least 1 batter. This is a big game for him - If his stuff isn't back to what it used to be, we may need to replace him in the rotation.

You were right, Muller couldn't last 3innings tonight and allowed a GS in the 2nd inning.

Gotta take advantage of series against Washington, while Philly and the Mets play tougher teams. We can do this.
