He already has the flopping and crying to the refs down. He might be the next Doncic.

I saw that. this guy can not stay on the court when its going to matter.

he's slow AF. I can see that every point guard picking on him. and rockets fans will be like us when we had JV. he's going to be amazing offensively but hes going to be picked on in the P n R to death and be played off the floor at this rate
raf1995 wrote:I just don’t think he has that kind of potential. I think we will regret not trading him for a haul in a few years when he’s a mid-tier starter with nice playmaking and defense and a shaky jumper.

Said nobody ever.....To be a factor in a game you need to get buckets.....other wise Rudy Gobert would be the best player in the NBA right now (Which hes not close)

You can literally flip this and say getting buckets alone doesn't make you a high impact player either otherwise kyrie would be able to actually be a 1st option on a winning team

Posters get way too worked up over summer league. I watch the 10 minute highlight videos, but would never watch an entire game. If some of these young guys show promise that would be great, but I still take if with a grain of salt because it is summer league at the end of the day.

Kyrie Irving hit one of the most clutch shots in NBA History to help beat one of the best teams in NBA history....He gets disrespected because things with the Celtics didn't work out....Irving is a difference maker...Saying he can do it alone is just a idiotic take...

No Players in NBA History won a title alone and thats including LeBron/Jordan/Giannis/Kobe....Literally all the Greats need other greats along side them to win a title ...

So yeah i will easily take Irving > Gobert and its not even a conversation

According to his logic Jordan Clarkson is more valuable than Rudy Gobert.

Just think about how meaningless the preseason is and summer league is more meaningless than that.

3 bad offseasons? What did you want him to do the championship offseason? Trade for lebron? No one was talking about last offseason being bad coming off 54 wins either. Everyone talked about the big rotation but the majority agreed that saving cap for a run at giannis was more important. I seriously question the memory of some people on this board

People forget that Terrence Davis looked like a superstar in SL, wasn't even a quarter of that in the NBA.

Kyrie can not be the #1 option on any legit playoff team. I seriously question your basketball iq if you think otherwise

In the playoffs he is....Clarkson was one of the better performers in the playoffs for them while Gobert got exposed....

Scoring 20PPG will always be more valuable than a player who can block shots (Nerlens Noel) its not even a discussion idk wtf you guys are thinking that having a few blocks is more important than being a high level scorer

I mean, Brewer was a Junior when he came into the NBA. Scottie was just a Freshman.

Also, the Raps scouting and development program truly eliminates a portion of the risk with these prospects. Their evaluation identifies hard working players with translatable NBA skills. Any player with the work ethic and the resources the Raps afford them has a high chance of success.

I remember seeing Bobby Portis in SL, he absolutely killed it. I then went on to tell my friend that Portis would be an All Star in 3-4 years time. Bobby Portis is still coming off the bench today.
