I wonder how many teams have 8 of their top 9 healthy when it matters.

Nice. Now Giannis, Thanassis and Georgios will be the first Greek Trio to average 30+ Points during the Play Offs

Lavine gets disqualified on the defense end, unless you think he'd be better in our system (and I guess he isn't white?). Who else might qualify?

man, maybe we've already cornered the market. https://www.ranker.com/list/top-white-nba-players-right-now-2018-2019/adam-mackenzie-stewart
Unless Franz Wagner qualifies as athletic.

Caruso is the other one. However, I think we just like bouncy guards that can defend and shoot a little.

Also if two players who play the same position get injured we suddenly have Point Thanasis.

Donte played a ton of PG last year.

I don't get what Thanasis is doing at all. This is his prime and he will spend it being a career 15th man just because his brother is on the team.

Thanasis re-signing is much welcome news. I mean his contract’s worth is already justified if you think of him as an energetic 10th man for a few high intensity minutes in regular season, but his value is 10fold when you think about the benefit he brings to our MVP’s mental wellbeing - having his brother alongside him. All in all can’t complain with this move.

If you want to keep Michael Corleone happy, you give his brother a job. Until you have him capped in the back of the head.. but that is beside the point. All he has to do is waive a towel... and be a warm body sometimes for giggles.

If they can sign him at a minimal deal and avoid LTax as much as possible.. super. 15th men dont matter. if they do, you arent winning a championship. But keeping Fredo happy, keeps Michael happy.

I suspect he would have gone overseas for the right offer but it probably never materialized. Probably would have considered another NBA team but Giannis signing the extension probably dried up a few potential suitors

Garbage time is great! You never know what might happen. Thanasis might decide to run the point, Nwora could go flames and Steve Novak could offer his thoughts on the dark side of cultural inclusivity. The action doesn't stop when the outcome is but a formality.

This is why we watch!

Sure besides the fact he is injured without a timetable on a return pick any another position.

Thanasis is Johnny Drama

I'm just not sure if Georgios is Turtle or E yet.

He’s not very good, and in Milwaukee he gets to be on an NBA roster with his brother, all while having zero expectations except for having fun and keeping Giannis happy. He’s living his best life :)

Eh, he's a pretty damn good basketball player. Not NBA good, but he could legit handle the ball at a lesser club in Europe. Like I wouldn't have been absolutely suprised if we would tear up Euro League if a team fully commits to giving him the ball. I'm glad he's back and I wouldn't be absolutely surprised if he ends up a legit playoff contributer at the tail end of his new contract.

We really should cut our losses with Diakite now, imo. There's something there, but not enough that he can help this team this or next season imo. And I don't see the sky high upside for it to be worth handing him a roster spot for the next two years. I guess if you don't think you can find legit contributers and rather have him on an unguaranteed contract to cut for buyout time that's fine, but imo there still are.
