Haliburton is likely the better player but there is still a premium on height.

Who does this site assume is going number 2?

I assume Anthony Edwards is number 1. No idea who 2 apparently is. I'd take Wiseman still.

Tyler Haliburton showed the most game as a rookie, but Patrick Williams showed serious potential to be the rarest kind of player: Big 2-way wing. The man looked huge and nothing about his mobility or skillset demonstrated any limitations so far. Wiseman is the major question mark, I think most smart people have pressed pause on their Wiseman evaluation and are waiting to see what this season has in store for him. He showed all his potential and all his shortcomings, but injuries shut him down before we got to see how he might change or adapt over the course of the season. I think Wiseman would be the high-risk, boom or bust pick here.

Probably safe to assume the ROTY is #1, Anthony Edwards #2, ? #3

Over LaMelo? Thank god your not a GM.

LaMelo as of now is #1 with Edwards being 2. 3 is a toss up between Hali and PWill for me. Haliburton safer pick but I do like PWill's upside.

Wiseman is stuck in the worst possible situation for him to develop. The timelines for his development just doesn't add up with that franchise, he's not their priority simple as that.

What a silly poll. It's like asking if Joel Embiid should go #3 in his first two years when he played a glorious ZERO minute of games due to foot injury.

The answer is Haliburton, but Patrick Williams has a higher ceiling.

It's asking who would go 3rd. there's no mention of lamelo. wiseman was already the 2nd pick. and haliburton thrown into the mix. there's clear ball clapping going on in this group of players selected. duh. we all know haliburton would be the choice at 3. patrick williams had a solid rookie year. just because this was created to praise haliburton ill go with pat williams. i like his future over his. hes 19 and his body already built and will get stronger in about 3 more years. athletically he's going to be a monster to. he has that right now. i think this poll would be suited for 2023. we will have a much brighter understanding on who's who by then. but lamelo and edwards are allstars this year or the following. haliburton is looking like that guy who needs lead a team at pg full time. he still has to play next to fox who is much better than he is. but now that the bulls have lonzo i dont think haliburton makes sense at all for chicago and im assuming if i had to make the selection at 3 with edwards and lemelo off the board id still select williams. reason why? way better ceiling to reach

Nobody can answer this now, but supposedly Patrick is 6'9 now. Already an elite defender, 40 % from 3, and just needs to clean up his handles, and aggressiveness. Bulls only path of being a contender is through him. What PW gives you at that size, is rare. Halliburtons come out every draft.

So sad. Haliburton should have been a knick but the Knicks suck at drafting.

I don't think so. Edwards shows so much more promise.

You're going to look very foolish over this comment at the end of this season.

LOL. Listen man Edwards is good, but you don't need to hate on LaMelo to make yourself feel better about Edwards. At the end of the day there's a reason Lamelo played like 20 less games than Ant and still won ROTY. Ant had some terrible defensive numbers, and his offense was good but still just a scorer. I act like him and think he'll be a rly good player, but Lamelo as of now is clear cut #1.

Ant kept improving all year. If it was rookie the of the last two months Ant wins in a landslide. I don't recall how many games Lamelo came back and played at the end, but he is clearly not on Ant's level.

I mean your perspective is clearly biased. You should be very happy with Ant, he looked very good. But as someone with no stakes in either team, LaMelo seemed like the best player the whole season and is so until Ant proves otherwise which he hasn't. Otherwise he would've won ROTY. Again, you can be happy with your player without needing him to be better than Lamelo, enjoy his performance for as long as you have him rather than trying to convince everyone he's better than Lamelo.

I'm not trying to convince. I'm just stating IMO the obvious. As far as winning RotY that doesn't mean much. He got the votes is all that proves.
