The Bears completely botched this. And it could easily stop surprise positive seasonal outcome. No way to sugarcoat. A shame to go into the schedule like this.

Eh.

Pandemic meant no in person physicals so I'm fine with the Jenkins pick/that decision.

Ifedi hurt his hip working out, happens and he'll be back.

Larry got a concussion but looked good.

One dude got covid.

Daniels got dinged up.

If we can get Bars/Mustipher/Whitehair/Daniels healthy for a steady inside and Larry B/Ifedi rolling before regular season I'd be comfortable with the line. There was some serious hype coming from Borom after his practices.

They can still sign a vet to shore things up.

borom was still listed as, like, a third stringer after he got some halfhearted training camp hype. the fifth rounder who might not be fit to play outside at all shouldn't be counted on as a starter, let alone at left tackle

cutting the starting LT when you could have dropped an overpaid #2 TE instead (or just let him retire!) was malpractice. pace is no bueno at cap management

Well cap management goes on easy mode for the next 4 seasons thanks to JF1 being on a rookie deal.

I've seen enough of Dalton, bring in Fields!

its only preseason and sooo early to make any conclusions, but this start has very much the same nagy + 3-and-out vibes as the last few years

i only tuned in for the last drive of the first half, so imo fields is an easy start week 1 and a possible mvp candidate

whatever may have happened before then is of no import. covered my eyes and stuck my fingers in my ears during the highlights at halftime

Fields looks so calm and collected out there. Looks a ton like Russell Wilson.

Easy looking 1st drive to start the 3rd. Some more of those and he probably has to start sooner rather than later.

the only possible issue i've seen thus far is him trying to squeeze throws into tight windows. haven't been watching closely enough to see whether there were better throws available though. certainly seems poised and accurate and able to make a variety of throws

Might be early, but I can't shake the feeling that we finally got a QB

The special teams look like this is the first time they’ve seen a football field.

he looked great in the second half, though it was against non-starters. Excited for the future. He looks very poised and decisive as commentators said. Carries himself as a winner on all levels.

If this year is a failure, Nagy and Pace need to go... should have probably already been gone.

Trading up when you cannot pin down a physical for a second round guy with a bad back?

Ifedi hurt his hip working out, happens and he'll be back.

Ifedi, nuff said. On top of this a rookie question mark opposite side

Larry got a concussion but looked good.

5th round rookie at left tackle in the NFL . Hmmm

They can still sign a vet to shore things up.

They don’t walk the streets being any good
