Kemba is high risk. His knee has deteriorated. Even playing every other game he couldn't move laterally last year.

I don’t know but I think all 3 teams got the point guard they needed to give them a push

Player A: 14.6/5.7/4.8 in 32 minutes last year
Player B: 28.6

He's definitely overpaid by a couple million at this point, based on last years production. He has a history of injuries, he's improved to be an average 3 point shooter, his off-ball defense involves a lot of gambling and he gets caught ball watching and he's not big/athletic enough as a one on one defender to guard the best wings in the league. I can name at least 15 players I'd rather have as a starting point guard right now.

It was still a good get by the Bulls, they've needed a competent point guard for a while and he's got a good amount of room to grow. I think all teams should be pumped about their signings and all will be a much better off at that position.

Bulls replaced Tomas Satorasky with Lonzo Ball, which moves Coby White into a reserve roll.
Knicks replaced Elfrid Payton with Kemba Walker. It's really astonishing that we were as good as we were with a guy that is not even a rotation player on most teams getting heavy minutes at a really important position.
Heat replaced Dragic with Lowry. Both were great locker room guys, but Lowry brings much more to the table at this point in both of their careers.
Go Knicks!

Depends what team I am. If I want to win this year and next, and had the space, Lowry. If I don't want to win or am building, Ball.

Kemba? No really interest unless I'm a completely well over the tax team like the Warriors and didn't want to send salary out.

So you're going to get different answers because you didn't ask the right question, which would include the team.

It's a tough choice, Kemba is on the lowest risk contract but the highest injury risk, but if healthy could be a steal, Ball is on a fair deal but still has great upside potential since he's young (could be an overpay if his shot regresses or he doesn't improve), and Lowry is still a solid player right now but on a contract I just wouldn't want at this point, I feel he's overpaid and old, a lot of mileage on the tires

Without looking at salary, Lowry looks like the best fit as he knows how to feed the big men (Bam), can play off ball and good (though declining) D
Not sure if Kemba fits the strong D of most Thibs teams but he is a good option on Offense if he plays more than 80%of games.
I have no idea what Chicago is doing but if Ball could not constantly feed one of the best bigs in the game (Zion), not sure what he is going to do with Vuc. But I am interested to see how that new look Bulls play together.

Still would Lowry out of all 3 if I am trying to win it all now

Because a lot of people don't trust a 35 year old 6'0" player that just missed a third of a season for a team that lost two thirds of their games and basketball is played on two sides of the floor.

Lonzo is just a lot less risk on a 2/3rds contract.

What I’m interested in is, which of the teams (Miami, Chicago, New York), according to people on the GB, made the best PG signing this summer. I probably should have made that clearer.

But Lonzo is also not nearly the player Lowry is. I would much rather take a gamble on a guy like Lowry who is a legit difference maker over paying starting money to a guy who is at best an average starter, but also one with significant offensive limitations at the most important offensive position. Now I think he landed in a near ideal spot because Vuc, Derozan, and LaVine mean all he has to do offensively is make shots and move the ball and occasionally get them a transition basket with his rebounding and ability to advance the ball quickly via the pass.

But Kyle Lowry is just a far superior player. And thus I can't imagine taking either of the other guys.

Except Lonzo is not "at best an average starter". It is the typical ignoring age and learning curve. Thinking what they are now is who they always will be. And Lowry isn't even that much better than the current Lonzo.

Lonzo is 23. During the Playoffs he is locked up for his age 24-27 seasons. My guess is his best seasons are in front of him and he will grow quite a bit. I would absolutely love Lonzo on that deal for almost any team in the league.

Lowry will be 36-38 during the playoffs during his deal. Chris Paul turned back the clock recently. Maybe Lowry can do the same. I just wouldn't bet on it.

Ball since he's the only one that I know won't fall off a cliff due to old age/injuries by the start of next season.

The position he plays doesn't matter. Lavine is going to be the Bulls primary playmaker. Lonzo plays mostly off ball.

I auto voted Lonzo forgetting Kemba settled for $8 after buyout. That makes it closer, but probably still take Ball and hope for further progression. Lowry is about the 3 years. He’s best next year probably, but already looked like a lesser player last year.

Lowry for the first year of his deal.

Probably Ball 2 years from now.

Lots of variables.

Lowry easily, followed by Kemba. All Ball has going for him is that he's still young. I can't remember the last time I've seen such a blah impact player get so much praise for merely being average at everything and not criticized for not even being good at his role.

Lowry.is overpaid but will have the greatest impact, Ball is somewhat of a wildcard but markedly better than Kemba who tops out as a defenseless 6th man at this point on his career.

Honestly Kemba could blow up again and he’s getting paid peanuts.

Can’t believe more hasn’t been made of his buyout. Ridiculous to pay someone that much to not play. If he went tons contender people probably would have cared more.
