Summer league squad is trash and our coach doesn't allow Barnes to bring the ball up court and initiate any pnr's.

Man is getting the ball and instantly passing it and setting screens.

Game 1 Barnes was different. He was given more freedom and you could see the potential.

I don’t like making excuses for players because Barnes is struggling. However quite often in summer league they are working on development and prep for training camp. They want specific things being worked on so they can shift focus to a players strengths later on.
