The thunder were playing other nba teams and he averaged 9 and 9 which is a double double almost over an extended period of time. Tell me what does WCS accomplish in the minutes he has. Perhaps the rest of OKC was so inept that Moses had no credible competition for the rebounds he was getting because nobody else on his team was getting any but in that case more rebounds would have ended up going to the other team as well and he likely would not have gotten as many. Plus in his last 10 games of that season his rebound numbers actually increased to 11 per game and he scored 9 each game plus hs FT percentage for that entire season was not 37% it was 61.9% a major improvement.
https://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/4397126/moses-brownHe is only 20 years old he has not even begun his career yet guys and he is doing 9 and 9 come on that production warrants giving him a shot to become at least a role player on this team. He might be able to defend from the 5 as KP gets old and cant play D like happened with Dirk when he got older so he could be our Tyson to play next to the new Dirk.
He is damn sure likely to become a better option than WCS at 7'2" and 245 he already has more size.
https://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/2991282/willie-cauley-stein oh wow WCS shot 62% from FT a whole % point better. and in just a few minutes less court time he produced numbers half as impressive 4.5 rebounds a game in 17 minutes a game. I would say you guys who hate on the kid have nothing to argue about because you are defending an option that leaves us with WCS being used for extended minutes and that guy has been horrible and below average with a PER of 14 versus Brown's PER of 18 which would have been 4th on the team last year
Last year in 31 minutes KP grabbed 8.9 rebounds a game and Moses did the same in 21 minutes a game.
