He is a good villain. I find it hard to root for him personally

This is one that could potentially end poorly but he's obviously so good you have to do it

If his agent even just gets 4% of this contract, he's set for life. No hate, good for them I guess.

The Sixers/Ben Simmons saga is just screaming for a trade to get another star to play with Embiid for a chance at a championship. Whether that be Lillard,Beal,Lavine etc ending up in Philly.

But none of those players seems to want to make any waves to be traded, happy with their current situation I guess. But Beal isnt winning anything in DC,Lillard in Port is kind of wasting his prime.

So whats up with these guys not making noise to end up in a place like Philly with Embiid,Tobias Harris,Curry ,D Green,Drummons and nice young complimentary pieces.

The Sixers were the #1 seed in the East in 2021 . If Lillard joined the Sixers he has a shot at a 60 Win season and a championship. As is he stays in Portland and the Blazers are going to have their hands full in just making the playoffs.

the worst part is he doesnt even have any injury insurance he can literally exaggerate an injury starting now go MIA and get 200.
this might be the worst contract in nba history morey i think will very soon flip burgers after fking up westbrook extension and cp3 trade. he already made several mistakes this move is final blow to himself. at least jimmy and westbrook these guys play like their life is on the line for 82 games.

Embiid does have an injury history but he seems to care about the NBA, winning, his standing in the league and he competes. It seems like it more than just money to him so I wouldnt doubt his motivation going forward

How does that make you better than the Lin, Gallo, and Wil fans who root for them over NY?

I don't feel anyone ever really doubted his skill, talent or potential but just his ability to ever stay healthy.

He's technically only played in 260 games since he was drafted in 2014 and is heading towards 30.

The stars are re-signing. Nets may be the last player driven superteam

Its Good to see star players like Giannis + Embiid stay loyal to their cities which arent seen as glamorous destinations.

Sixers thought they drafted 2 superstars. Its amazing the difference in attitude between Embiid + Ben Simmons .Polar opposites. Embiid has always been loyal to Philly , lives in the city, plays on the public tennis courts,BB courts, goes to the beaches in South Jersey as opposed to LA or Miami and has constantly stated his only goal is to win a Championship for Philly.

Meanwhile Ben Simmons has a very distant relationship with Philly, bought a $20 M house 3000 miles a way in Hollywood , chases alot of celebrity skirts around and has alot of diva in him. Seems to act like he wished he never signed the rookie extension to stay in Philly.

Jo's agent was Leon Rose, but he's now with the Knicks. He let him go before he negotiated the contract on his own, so he takes home every single cent of that contract, smart move. I'm guessing he'll hire an agent at some point.

After your twenties, yes you head to your 30s. He's 27, let's not act like he's old, he's basically just beginning his prime, and might not have even started yet.

And when you head into your 30s you tend to get injured more easily than in your early to mid 20s when you are more spry. I haven't seen anything yet to see how Embiid will be healthier in his coming years than he had been up to this point.

I honestly wish him the best but it would be pretty unique in NBA history for a player to miss less games and be healthier the older he gets. It would be great to see Embiid play 65+ games in a season but he hasn't done so from ages 20 through 26 will he start at 27?

It makes you think...

Why do max salary players have agents at all?

I'm SURE there are legit reasons. But from a commoner's perspective, it doesn't appear to make sense.

I think it's risky but you've got to do it.
