Pacers get a guy who can play with Turner or Sabonis.
Raptors get a young C.

The Pacers might not want to send Bitadze for a possible rental of Boucher.

I should of added a 2nd coming back like I would with Reid or Hayes.

Boucher is a good fit on the Bucks, but it would be hard to make the salary work. Maybe a trade could make sense a year or two from now, if the Raptors still have him.
still learning the game

Also, imo Boucher should be playing the 4 unless he is paired up with a PF like Giannis or AD.

When I saw him, he looked like a 3 and D type to me, I don't think his scoring last year is sustainable but he is a mobile and active shot blocker. He can't play center against post up players because he doesn't have the weight and lower body strength to hold post position but next to a guy like Sabonis, he'd be fine.

It's the expiring part that's a problem when you try to trade a guy who has more future potential than he has proven to this point.

I think this is part of the problem. That would work for him, but not for any team. It's been an iffy fit with Turner, who is a far better player and specifically worked on playing that kind of position.

Would Pacers consider a Boucher/Yuta/Dragic for Turner and Lamb swap? Pacers basically roll the dice on Boucher potentially being a better fit while the production from Dragic hopefully makes up for any difference. Yuta is just a young swing who plays defence and provides some potential. They potentially save a lot of long term money if they aren't sold on Turner. Or is Lamb more useful than I give him credit for? I'm really just including him to make the salaries balance out.

Lamb can be had. He's useful, but we've replaced him with Levert/Duarte/Holiday, and the emergence of Sumner/McConnell.

But no, I don't think we'd make a deal of "Turner for Boucher". Not essentially straight up. There'd need to be some good value in terms of the other players/picks involved. Yuta is fine, as is Dragic. But we're already 15 players deep with guys we like, so Yuta would be maybe the 16th guy, and Dragic would be the 3rd PG with the investment in McConnell, both things they are too good for.

Nah. For a 3rd or 4th (or maybe even a 5th) big, we're happier with the cost certainty of Goga, while being in the neighborhood of impact of Boucher. And, we don't realistically have the filler to make that type of deal and stay under the tax, without blowing it way up and adding in Lamb.

There is a fairly decent gap between what the Toronto fans are expecting in a trade of Boucher and the perceived value of Langford.

Didn't Langford miss the Summer League Championship Game last night because of something with his wrist?

I read several of the team specific sections of RealGM to have a feel for what is going on across the league. I spent some time last night reading the game thread in the Boston section.

There were several of the Boston partisans that were fairly negative about Langford being out with an injury again.

Every once in a while I have seen something positive about Grant Williams, but mostly he generates blah impressions for the Boston fans.

So the package of Grant + Langford is considered very blah by the Boston fans and it is being offered for a player (Boucher) that the Toronto fans are seeking a decent first round pick for.
