Barnes makes it easier for Boucher and Siakam to share a rotation. Ideally he can play as a PG/pointforward or just spotting up offensively while defensively he can guard the center. This would allow Boucher and Siakam to play outside of the post defensively and at the very least OG, Barnes and Boucher can take turns there as I don't think Siakam seems too interested in guarding bigs.

Having Barnes and Boucher share a rotation off the bench could end up being a thing. First two off the bench type of deal. Should be an interesting seism. Can't wait.

I love it. It feeds into the whole mentality of the team being disrespected and an underdog, which will make Scottie feel right at home.

A lot of media seem to overlook the impact of Barnes joining a team with a winning culture.

i) Detroit - made the playoffs 2 times in 12 years and were swept in the 1st round both times.

ii) Orlando - made the playoffs 2 times in 9 years and lost 4-1 in the 1st round both times.

iii) Cleveland - without LeBron they have had one (barely) winning season (42-40) and have only won more than 24 games once since 1997!

iv) Houston - their most experienced players are Eric Gordon and DJ Augustin, they lost 20 straight games last year, and other than a 6 game winning streak just before that losing streak they only won 2 games in a row once (both against Sacramento)

I know OG is going to be guarding the best wing players on the other team but in situations where there are switches and matchup changes it'll be fun to see what Barnes can and can't do vs elite big wings/forwards like Tatum, KD, etc.
