What about adding an additional 25 players for the 75th year anniversary? My list is not in any order, it's not scientific, just names that popped into my head at the time. Who would you add? Who would you remove?
1.Lebron James
2.Tim Duncan
3.Kobe Bryant
4.Dirk Nowitski
5.Kevin Garnett
6.Ray Allen
7.Chris Bosh
8.Carmelo Anthony
9.Dwight Howard
10.Kawhi Lenoard
11.Jason Kidd
12.Steph Curry
13.Kevin Durant
14.James Harden
15. Giannis antetokounmpo
16. Chris Paul
17. Russell Westbrook
18. Klay Thompson
19. Allen Iverson
20. Paul Pierce
21. Anthony Davis
22. Damian lillard
23. Dwayne Wade
24. Steve Nash
25. Nikola Jokic
Interesting List but we'd have to instantly remove Klay, he shouldn't even be a consideration.
Some adds missing from your list.
Miller - an odd one as he was skipped the first time but he had a pretty nice career post 96 so we can fix his omission.
Billups - this one might not happen but he's got to be on the list
Gary Payton - Another playing at the time but he'd have some great years post 96 and again, he's an obvious add.
Pau Gasol - Underrated guy in general and might miss out but should be ahead of Klay by a mile. Likely over AD as well
Ginobili - has to be here imo. Too important to the game and just flat out too good. Allstar game stubs and all.
Mutombo - 4x DPOY, carried a team to the finals. Nuff said.
Now ideally we could fix the original list and remove a few but without that. Lets drop Jokic due to short career, Klay as he isn't in the top 100 considerations, I'd drop Melo but he won't be so he stays, AD drops, and I hate myself but maybe drop Lilard.
So we add Miller, Billups, Payton, and I hate it but Mutombo with Manu and Gasol being horrible snubs, assuming I can't fix the original list.
God this sucks...but at least we can all 100% agree to drop klay
