His is definitely the one that stands out

Given Nash was a new coach, it's surprising he's near the top.

On the other hand, the Nash bashing by Nets fans is hard to fathom. Despite losing two of his three stars, the Nets were one shoe size from beating the Bucks and probably winning it all.

I hope Nash shared his salary with D'Antoni, since he was pulling all the strings. It will be interesting to see Nash trying to stand on his own.

I thought the Nets were the best coached team we played, I was surprised at how unimpressive Monty Williams was.

Thoughts on DDV and Nwora for Justin Holiday?

This is with the idea that the Bucks are not able to work out an extension with Donte.

I look forward to the day I can stop hearing/reading about Kevin Durant's **** shoe size.

Unfortunately it will probably coincide with my death.

Completely agree! It is a line and he was on it, the court happens to be made up of lines that players have to be aware of. Excusing KD because of shoe size is asinine. If he was trying to shoot a 3 then it is completely on him, if he was just trying to get an open shot to tie the game then mission accomplished.

It wasn't nearly as close as people talk about it (one shoe size wouldn't have made a difference). OT game, there are a million different 2 inch swings that could have changed the outcome.

Glad Jim and Ted got to go out on top. Going to be hard to replace both.

And if he moves back, he might miss.

However, it still should have been Giannis defending him on that play.

How about the Giannis layup at the end of the 1st half that I thought they should have reviewed. Said it was just after the game clock expired. 0.1 seconds earlier and we would have been up 4 at the end of game since nothing else would have changed

LOB did a pod where the Celtics guy came on and part of it was spent discussing Semi. I thought that was somewhat informative as to what we can expect from him. If he succeeds it'll be in a small ball 4 role where his only task on offense is to hit open shots. The Celtics guy seemed to think there's a decent chance Semi can do that for us successfully and that he was asked to do too much in Boston.

I think it'll be really interesting to see who gets the backup 4 minutes between Semi & Thanasis

Yep, I think if we tell him that if he defends, hits open threes and hunts offensive boards there's tens of millions of dollars in the NBA for him, that should be enough.

If he can occasionally get a guy in the air on a closeout and drive for an easy bucket, even better. But that last part isn't even that important.

Like he doesn't know about his shoes & where to spot up to get the right shot. If he had a mental lapse, then that's also on him.

He took that one & ran away with it in the post game. I get that it sucks to lose but I can't imagine Giannis ever coming with the bitter line like he did. It definitely rubbed me the wrong way & took away from any of the compliments in the Bucks as a team.

I don’t think anyone is excusing KD, nor does he need it (he was incredible and essentially a one man team). I think people honestly believe they a making a creative and funny observation that no one else has made.

The toe on the line has nothing to do with Durant screwing up or a funny observation (what's funny about it?).

MY point is that this was a razor close series that could have gone wither way, despite the Nets having only one of three superstars available. Talent-wise that series shouldn't have been close. It was Durant and not much else. We can argue about why that happened, but it is incontrovertible that the Bucks were the much more talented team.

It’s why Bud “only” got a three year extension.

He was pretty awful until PJ Tucker chewed him out in game 6 of that series.

Then he started playing to players strengths and doing much of the stuff we’ve been talking about for years here.
