Yep, he did what he said he was going to do and stuck to his guns and got it done - what the previous 3 Administrations weren't able to accomplish.

He also got meaningful Covid relief done.

He has all but pushed through the next infrastructure plan and is working on the next.

If you ignore what he says and just watch what he is doing... well, he is doing a great job, IMO.

And let there be no doubt Biden >>>>>>>>>>> Trump thus far.

It's just mind boggling that the GOP strategy seems to be "let's kill as many people as possible, which will force another lockdown and tank the economy so the Dems get hurt at the midterms"

At what point do Republicans wake up from this and say, "wait, we're doing what???"

Imagine if Obama had said "yeah I *could* do something about Ebola but it kills marginally more Republicans than Democrats so I'm just going to let it run rampant throughout the United States. I'm all about eugenics baby."

Just pull the bandaid off. Americans are stupid and will forget about the whole thing after a few 24-hour news cycles.

Worked for Trump, Biden might as well use it too.

I don’t know why anyone thinks Americans care about foreign policy. If they did they never would have let a complete **** morally bankrupt piece of **** like Trump near the nuclear codes.

Republicans only care if American soldiers die so they can use them as political tools. Neither Democrats or Republicans don’t care about civilian casualties of wars. Literally for decades all we heard from Americans is “no more wars” and “get out of the Middle East”. Now I’m supposed to believe the current state of Afghanistan which was only going to end one way actually matters to Americans? The average American barely cares about people outside their immediate family, this will be dropped from the news cycle and forgotten.

Can't do a x100 sadly. But these two diagrams make it far easier for most to understand what happened and why a lack of transparency from previous administrations wasn't helpful. If Bush had said, "we are nation building and this is going to take 50 years and cost $3T", well, that would have been one thing. Instead, "mission accomplished" and every administration after his was unwilling to take the hit.

I need to stop saying "anything can be accomplished with time/money." There are some obvious exceptions, Afghanistan being one of them.

They truly are a Who's Who of Morons. And even Jordan & Gaetz were smarter than Trump. Now it's time for them to be loyal to their country, and they won't do it.

And states like TN, KS, and MO with significant White majorities
would rather kill many of those White people before they open their
eyes to the racism that undergirds much of the harmful policies.

My twitter timeline is absolutely exploding with rage over the Texas forced birth law going into effect. Will be interesting to see how the 2022 elections go. Unlikely, but if the Dems hold onto the house and get two seats in the Senate, I see expansion of the Supreme Court as a distinct possibility.

If I'm a Dem politician in the next election, every word not spent talking about abortion is a wasted word. This is a policy that is supported by 77% of the population. Republicans absolutely must be punished for this.

^ the GOP is counting on suppression and gerrymandering (which we know is actually suppression by another name)
to cling onto whatever semblance of power they can. Their policies are broadly unpopular.
All they got is socialism radical liberal agenda yadda yadda. Grievance.

Their scariness is only getting worse with elected officials like Cawthorne basically
saying if we lose, it's fraud/rigged and we will take up arms against our fellow citizens.

Parker Palmer says this about that -

"When we lack the moral imagination to something else with our suffering, we do violence"

Was thinking about this yesterday, reading a tweet from one of my "politically neutral" twitter followers, saying in effect it looks like we're on the road to bloodshed.

What are we fighting about? The last Civil War had people who wanted to continue slavery on one side and people who were against slavery on the other. Now that's understandable. We're going to start shooting each other? Over what exactly? What is the specific grievance that the GOP has that they're willing to tear this country apart, spill a river of blood and set brother against brother? What are we even arguing about?

And as one of the tweeter's said, McCarthy's committed Obstruction of Justice by threatening (actually promising) retribution against United States companies for complying with a Congressional subpoena. Congress should take action against McCarthy. And frankly, this isn't complicated. He should have to go away.

Republicans, including Hawley and Graham are calling for resignation/impeachment of Biden over Afghanistan. Mitch McConnell as the voice of reason says "no" because Dems hold the majority.

It's pretty sickening.
