Video starts before FA and it features the Sam, his wife and the host. It transitions into post Raptors agreement but it’s not clear how long after.
Takeaways:
1) The journey is the reward!
2) Sometimes you need to get kicked in the teeth to grow.
3) Understands and embraces the fact that the Raptors are Canada’s team not just Toronto’s (mentions Winnipeg, Ottawa and Calgary).
4) He mentioned that he had interest from 6-8 teams but that he only worked out for Boston and Toronto.
5) His talking about the ten hour drive from Wisconsin to Toronto to bring stuff and his dog doesn’t sound like he thinks this is just an extended paid tryout!
Yeah you don't leave your dog for a week though.

He comes off as super douchey. He's also made some questionable race-related comments in the past and a former teammate has accused him of being a racist.
I'm not sure a player of his calibre (end-of-bench) is worth risking team chemistry over. I'd rather we pass on him.

I wouldn't have looked his way to begin with for an end of the bench player. Legit surprised it's not just a training camp offer.

The player that accused him was JR Smith. It was along the lines of JR saying Dekker was the only teammate he ever hated because of some political argument they got into on the team bus. He did not get into the specifics of what was said but that it had something to do with Trump. In a separate interview Dekker addressed it saying he has no clue what JR is talking about and that he “is not a Trump guy.”
That’s it.

I'm sure this was run before Masai, and if he is okay with it, it's at least wroth a look. A young immature Americans goes overseas and plays in Europe, lives in Turkey? That can change perspectives on life and people. We know the team doesn't hesitate to get rid of bad apples (I still wonder what Alex Lem did to get axed so quick.)

Bobby alluded to it in an interview already that they talked about it and dont seem interested in pre-judging players/people. No risk here in a camp invite especially with his improved play in Europe.

JR Smith never articulates exactly the cause of his comments towards Dekker. From the article, and the quoted comments from Smith, one must ascertain there is little weight to the entire dispute and that Smith just doesn't like Dekker on a personal level. Otherwise, he should spell out in detail what he actually means instead of BS innuendo.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

I doubt he's racist, maybe more stereotype-enriched. Then again he's from Wisconsin.

Genuine question - what about him made you label him as douchey from this video? Not looking to revisit the JR comments. Just asking about this specific video.
I believe in Masai.

Re: Summer Runs and Random Player Sightings
Not a player sighting but a good interview with Pascal's agent who does mention that Pascal will be with the team in LA this week.
It doesn't sound at all like Pascal is unhappy. A good interview to dispell any rumors of issues.

Re: Summer Runs and Random Player Sightings
We all know Pascal rumours we're started by GS , SAC etc to ignite any possibility on a trade with him. Toronto was never looking to move him, plain and simple. We'd only deal him for an enourmous package that no one is going to pay. Lets move on from thsi crap now and prepare him for a strong season again.
