Size 53 shoes. I had to read that twice, because it doesn't even sound possible

That's probably US shoe size 18.

Cleveland really doesn't have a logjam. They're buying out Love and roll with a solid, not spectacular three player rotation for PF and C. Nothing to see there.

3 of our projected starters shot over 40% last year with him, Randle, and RJ.

This is a no longer a weakness for us, fckin finally. We have Rose (38.8%), IQ (38.9%) and Burks (41.3%) subbing in

Forgive me if I sound like Mentality with my optimism here

Knicks were #3 in 3 point shooting % last year.

Pretty sure they were near the bottom in attempts though. Not as horrific as someone might think though. I think they attempted around 30. Probably around 26th. If they take 5 more 3 pointers per game, that would tie OKC at 13th in the league. 34 to 36.5 is "middle 1/3rd"

Everyone has to take the same number of attempts as last year; Fournier maybe take a 3 more per game than Bullocks did, and Kemba/Rose for a season should pick up 4 3's a game attempted that Elf didn't attempt.

Probably what brings the Knicks from 106 to 112 ppg, just about the middle of the middle - Dallas averaged 112 ppg, 17th in the league.
Sounds like where the Knicks might be able to land.

Why does that Lauri, Mobley, and Allen frontcourt make me think Dan Gilbert is now more likely to trade for Obi? Clearly a student of the Steve Mills school of team building.

LOL.

You think he wants us to trade Obi for Sex? I'm still hoping for that Grimey, Quick Sex backcourt.

Allen’s contract being 5 years makes it a little more logJamy. Like who exactly were they bidding against? That needed to be a 3 year deal with maybe a 4th year team option at most. Having Mobley get off the bench for 15-20 mins at the 5 with some mins at the 4 shouldn’t be the end of the world. Considering he’s a top 5 pick, you’ll probably need him to take that job from Allen by year 2/3, if he’s actually good. I don’t really like the idea of Mobley playing the 4 but for like 10 minutes a night but I could deal with that.

Seems pointless and discriminatory to have mandatory vaccination for referees, but not players. LeSatan probably did this.

At least we are not the Cavs with 4 big men making all the money on their team. 1 is old and don’t want a buyout and the other just got signed to start over a legit rookie with max potential.

Are you sure? Maybe we never really gave enough playing time to 4 bigs and guard in our rotations. It could become so popular, we could create an acronym: 4BAG! Yeah, forget the triangle, forget 7 seconds or less, just play 4BAG.

Simmons would flourish in an offense where he is used as the screener rather than the primary ball-handler (with a guard who can pull-up from 3 eg Dame, Beal, Kyrie, Steph and a stretch 5 to space the floor). Like Giannis this past year or prime Draymond when he would serve as Golden State's secondary playmaker.

Simmons is just a tough guy to build around, as is any player who can't shoot. But Philly was never a good situation for him, with Embiid clogging the lane (and vice versa).

There's a situation where Simmons reaches his potential and becomes a threat. That situation isn't in New York though.

I'm all for player empowerment but this shiat is getting nuts. He's got 4 years and almost $150 million left on his contract and he's threatening to not show up for work? Where's the repercussions for this type of petulant behavior? This is put on your big boy pants time and do what you agreed to do when you signed on the dotted line, the franchise hasn't mistreated him in any way that I'm aware of.

He can demand a trade, that's his prerogative but if he tanks his value and ruins the ability of the 76ers to make a trade and get decent value for him then he's just acting in bad faith. There has to be something the league can do to not allow players to violate their contractual obligations and harm a franchise that has invested so much in them. There has to be some balance to these relationships.

They should trade him to the Kings and let him wallow outside of the playoffs in the deep western conference with a dysfunctional franchise. The Sixers can get Fox and maybe a pick from that team since they have pretty much filled out their back court the past two drafts with Hali and Davion. They might actually be a playoff team by adding Simmons...well, play in team at least.

Fox and Maxey backed by Curry, Shake and Springer is a nice back court rotation. They still have Embiid and Harris along with alot of quality role players and promising young talent. It keeps them at the top of the east and they can salvage a situation that seems to spiraling out of control. It's not the way Morey wants to decimate another team in a trade but his options are getting slim.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.
