I really rate JWP as well, but for whatever reason his profile just isn't on the same level as some of the other English midfield talents.

He was dominant last night and with new reffing rules could get the golden boot. I think he's even better than Lukaka in that he is more mobile and willing to move around the pitch. West Ham for top 4 this year?

I watched the whole match and came away very impressed by West Ham. They aren't necessarily the most talented team in the league (though they do have some good players), but the way they press and hassle their opponents so aggressively is crazy, and they play very quickly and effectively when they do get the ball. Moyes deserves a ton of credit for turning a frankly dreadful team into arguably the best West Ham team in decades, surely beating Bilic's "vaunted" 7th place finish squad with Payet. Top four? I don't think they'll manage that, but they'll be thereabouts once again.

I mean no disrespect to Leicester when I say this, but that was probably the poorest I've seen Leicester play under Brendo so far. Very frustrating to see them continue to try to play out from the back with a man disadvantage, and with West Ham clearly gameplanning for it with the high press. The red card challenge was appalling as well, it looked like Ayoze was trying to use his body to protect the ball and block Fornals off but completely mistimed it.

Leicester will be back, though.

Because he plays for Southampton. If I took off my blue glasses I'd rather have him in my team than James Maddison (and obviously above jorghino ;-))

Ronaldo to City is one transfer I really want to see happen just so I can watch the United fans' reaction.

And next year, Kane will come to the Citizens.

The prem is just going to be a bloodbath this year. It's looking like four elite teams that could win domestically and in Europe.

Now that Ronaldo has signed for Man United, I kinda wish Messi had gone to City. Not that their rivalry or the Mancester Derby needed any more sizzle, it just would have been fun.

Chelsea, Man city and ....

I suppose you've added Manchester United but surely you don't class Liverpool on the same level?

I think tottenham and West Ham will finish above Liverpool.

If Pep and City have any sense, they should take their foot off the pedal, so Arteta doesn't get the sack at HT.

Losing to Man City shouldn't get a manager the sack but why keep him in the job?

They have been running that dusty starting 11 for like five years in a row now, but when they're all on the pitch they're pretty much as good as anyone. Hate their attacking depth though.

Yeah, when everyone is healthy, I think Liverpool arguably have the best starting XI especially if Jota can maintain his form. Their problem is with depth due to relative lack of investment in the squad.

Unreal defensive performance a man down by us. No comment on red + pen call, but we were getting all the high danger chances before that.

Whatever.

That was some performance by Chelsea in the 2nd half. Didn't seem that troubled.

Only saw the first half of CHL-LIV. What a goal by Havertz. Watched the highlight of Ricardo in the LEI game making a goal from busting ass. Awesome stuff.

Ricardo was great for those 8 minutes then injured to add to our defensive list of injured.
