I mean. Do you honestly think he cares about fighter pay, or just wants to illicit responses from Dana? Do you think Jake Paul is going to be a difference maker in that field?

I don’t care what he actually wants the affect is the same. Do I still think he’s a douche and a **** person? Yes. Would I like tyron to kill him? Sure. But still I appreciate all the talk and media attention he’s bringing to the issue.

Will he actually make a difference ? I think slightly because it’s a very hot topic atm and there’s a lot of heat on the ufc.

Will anything change? I dunno. Ufc don’t seem like the company to do the right thing out of the goodness of their heart, they need to be forced. Masvidal has a good point in that fighters are much different than other athletes and getting them all in the same room would be hard enough, let alone to work together to achieve a common goal. That’s really not happening anytime soon.

Slightly ot but the crypto.com deal is worth 175 mil over 10 years and fighters got 0% cut. Same with all the other sponsorships. Nice.

I can't find the quote now, but when they asked Woodley about Jake Paul and fighter pay, he said if Paul really cared he'd pay them himself or something like that.

Possibly the dumbest comment I've ever heard which is saying a lot considering how long I've watched MMA. Also ironic as Paul gets post-MMA Woodley and his buddy Askren huge paychecks lmao.

Also, pretty sure Jake Paul donated $5k to some UFC fighter's GOFUNDME to help pay for her training camp.

I thought Woodley was pretty cool for a while. He had no silly devotion to the purity of the game but was openly looking to extend his WW title run to make bank. I think that's due. You're an idiot if you're trying to entertain the fans or move up in weight to take on challenges. The fight game is looking to exploit exactly that attitude and the financial return is just not worth it. Get that title, and hold onto it.

But the continual tough talk is enough. He put BLM on his back against Colby and didn't do a **** thing. Now he's talking like he's gonna run through Paul? I don't think he is. I think he's going to get beaten. And it'll be 5 times in a row, then.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Check out Amanda Serrano on the co-main, BTW. The most fluid womens boxer I've ever seen. I'd pay PPV rates to watch her shadowbox.

Prime Woodley destroys Paul. Problem is this is the old washed up with shot chin Woodley. Is that still good enough to win against a younger opponent? Probably not.

Woodley not active enough, will lose on points. Gun shy like his last 4-5 fights? 39 years old time to hang them up.

Woodley has never been a good boxer and he has been picked apart on his feet for the last 3-4 years now. I mean Colby put on a striking clinic against Woodley. Cool on Paul to slowly step his game up each time I guess.

But ya wake me up when he decides to call out a UFC fighter like a Costa, Izzy, Whitaker, and so on. Again Woodley was a wrestler that had a huge over right hand. He was never a guy that was a skilled striker. He is also almost 40. Enough of the 40 year old retired MMA fighters. Actually start facing pro boxers or convince Dana to let one of the skilled strikers at 185 end the hype.

Even in a boxing match against Jake Paul, he still manages to be Tyquill Woodley.

One judge really gave Woodley 5 rounds.

Woodley could've won - but still gun shy.

Woodley could have finished Paul if his fight IQ was high enough to tell him to pounce after he got his overhand right. He should have let it all go in round 4. Too bad he's gun shy. 39 years old time to hang them up. Happy Woodley got paid. Will like to see Paul keep pestering Dana White on fighter pay.

Any of those 3 middleweights would sleep him within 1-2 rounds lmao, especially Izzy

Yup. Just a reminder to everyone, he has 1 KO in the last 6 years. He has been living off that Lawler KO highlight for quite sometime now. This is the guy that got picked apart on the feet by Colby Covington (wrestler), Gilbert Burns (world champion BJJ) and was pretty much KO'd by Vicente Luque within 4 minutes.

Jake's size and length was a bit tough to deal with but ya, Tyron was just too damn gunshy as he always is... It's too bad, there was alot of holes in Jake's game but Tyron couldn't capitalise.

Gotta give it up to Jake. I didnt think he had a chance here but he survived and landed some clean shots and deserved the win.

Tyron talking tough in the post fight interview. Ain't nobody want to see you dissapoint us again T-wood. Hang em up and give Jake a boxer pls.
