Mac Jones looks 100% like a guy who threw for 464 yards and 5 TDs while leading his title to a national title in the last 'real' game that he played. At *some point* at least a couple of the four teams who took other QBs over him in the draft might go 'oh wait'.

It was obvious from watching the preseason games that Mac Jones is better. Belichick isn't stupid. End of story.

Mac has been phenomenal.

We just can't find the endzone. Goddamn.

Defense will have to get this done today.

Tough luck for Harris. Dude had been amazing all game long. What a tough L this will be if it is confirmed.

I'm beyond pissed off over that fumble. Unacceptable. I would have benched him the rest of the game if he didn't end it already with his fumble...........but the future is bright with mac jones. With have our QB.

I like Mac Jones so far but this team still has work to do.

Sucks to lose by a point though and to the Dolphins of all teams.....

On the plus side, we aren't the Packers.

Holy **** was I worried after that first "pass" attempt, but Mac ended up spinning the ball really well yesterday.

Good decision making, got he ball out quick, fairly solid footwork, manged to extend a couple plays without turning the ball over. Lots and lots of really positive stuff. Loved that he didn't take the first TD ball (although I hope someone kept it for him). Felt like he was cool, calm and collected throughout. B Flo definitely threw some challenging stuff at him and he didn't fall apart, so really really positive performance.

Turnovers and penalties killed us. It's frustrating, but I guess that's better than us being straight incompetent and not putting up a fight. Those things can be worked on and ironed out over the next couple weeks with BB lording over them.

Felt like a moral victory even though it's a tough loss. This team is set up to win in the margins rather than overpower anyone and you just can't make these mistakes and be successful.

Special teams, Defense and the run game is there to support Mac and he seems ready to manage the rest. Just need to bring it altogether now.

Disappointing but lots of positives. Mac is the real deal, holy **** that touch throw to White. Reminds me of Brees, the way he moves around and throws though he never actually runs. I am very happy we have Mac and they have Tua, we're coming out ahead in the long run. Harris ran well, just made a young player mistake trying to fight for extra yards late in a game when the opposing team needs a turnover. Learning experience. Same for Stevenson. The defense was more disappointing imo, for all their big name signings they couldn't stop inept Tua in almost any crucial situation. Tough start but still thinking this is a 10 or 11-win team if Mac keeps playing like that.

Should've won. Little Mac looked good. Philips was an animal. Love me some Dugger. Defense improved as the game progressed. We'll see the Fins again.

White, the slot receiver and TEs looked good too. Split ends still need to separate more. RBs ran well, gotta secure the ball. Hopefully Pats will progress over the season.

Goal remains. Reclaim the East, peak and make a PO run. House money with our rookie QB.

Lots of positives but we'll continue to struggle with inexperienced players (QB, RB) touching the ball on almost every play. If we can't secure the ball better we will be lucky to win 7 games.

Gotta like what you saw from Mac. Patience is an underrated skill. It can be tough to take what the D gives and dink and dunk your way down the field. As we have seen it can be incredibly effective. Lots of guys want to go for the HR ball every play. Jameis Winston, Fitzpatrick, Bledsoe come to mind. Mac appears to have the patience, accuracy and timing needed to execute the offense we've seen over the last 20 years. Exciting stuff!

WR's and TE's all contributed a little but no one popped. Would like to see someone step up.

RBs - was disappointed with the fumbling obviously. Harris looked good until the fumble at the end.

Holding any team under 20 is pretty good these days especially w/o your #1 CB. Disappointing to not get the ball back after the Harris fumble though. Overall promising. Pash rush seemed pretty good.

Belichick needs to find a stud receiver. A deep ball threat that can also separate underneath. The TEs and slot are fine but as warned the wideouts aren't getting open. Id trade Gilmore to get that piece if necessary. Our d backfield is enough as is.

I’m not one of those fans that thinks their guy is the best guy so to me Mac Jones ceiling is Matt Ryan at best. The other four taken ahead of him have ceilings that are above Matt Ryan IMO.
