KC doesn't just throw stuff out to see if it gets a reaction so it's probably the case that Aldridge is considering the Bulls. The situation seems made for a guy who hasn't played in a year. They're going to get another PF. He backs up Patrick with the other FA PF and could be the 3rd center for specific situations. They've got Simonovic for 'garbage time' and just watching LA, Bradley and Vuc should be educational for him.

It would be a major shift for the franchise if even one player with options at the end of his career looked at the Bulls.

Well, Paxson just confirmed we were in the running for Paul Milsap. Said he’s not mad and doesn’t blame him for choosing the Nets.

Kris Dunn is getting passed around like a collection plate at a church. I wonder if he'll get waived. I actually liked him and thought he was a solid contributor when you adjusted your expectations. We don't need him now, but we'll need some guard depth if we trade Coby White. I know AK chose to let him walk, but he may be a solid cheap option to keep on our radar.

Buy bitcoin and mask. This is good advice from 2020.

Faried is unplayable trash now. Go with that Beasley kid off of the summer league squad.

I'd take a chance on Faried over Beasley. Better fit for what the team needs. I mean yeah he's 32 but he should have plenty in the tank to just come off the bench and give us some scrappy play. I didn't watch them in summer league though so I could be way off.

Faried didn’t look like an NBA player in Summer League. There’s a reason he couldn’t find a spot in the last 2 seasons.

Faried can't find a spot because the league's changed and they don't value guys like him anymore. He fell out of the league after averaging 13 and 8 in 24 minutes so it's clearly not about his production.

Of the remaining options, Faried is the most likely to be able to give you consistent play. He's not a shooter or a defender, but he brings energy, athleticism, and rebounding. I'd be more than happy to have that at this point.

“I’m really grateful that there’s a new way of looking at things and working, the fact that they’ve been so aggressive and taken some chances,” Paxson said on the podcast. “You look at the talent on our team. And unfortunately, I know we were in on the Paul Millsap thing. He decided to go to Brooklyn, which you can’t blame him. But they’ve just left no stone unturned.

“I’m happy for our fans and the people in our organization. We tried the last few years to rebuild it through the draft. And it didn’t work. So the fact that AK and Marc have been so aggressive, it has to have our fan base excited.”

IMO Dunn is a worse version of TBJ. Pass!

I surprised anyone remembers Faried. It was crazy how he went from being hyped the manimal then one day out of nowhere he was just never ever mentioned again.

I'd be fine with this. He looked really good in a small sample size.

First of all, yes he does. Very astute obvservation.

Second, I know nothing about this guy, but in 18 games last year he was a statistical beast. Per 36 he averaged 18 points and 17 rebounds. He also has a PER of 24.

Maybe he's worth a look.

So you're saying he plays like they had a kid? Sign him.

Alize Johnson would be a great back up for William's. He is a high energy player that could rebound and hustle. He reminds me of Farried when he was in Denver.

If the person running the Gabriel Deck social media campaign is one of the posters on our board here, I just gotta say you're doing great work. I've never heard of ontapsports.com, but now that article about Deck seems to be hiding in every Bulls free agency-related comment thread on Twitter.

I'm going to pretend that the Nets are so scared of us that they had to sign our 2 top PF targets to prevent us from getting them :)

I hate that this league is so full of front runners.

Alize seems like an interesting option. Limited sample size but those per 36 numbers are pretty crazy if they can keep translating in a 15-20mpg role. He was dominant on the glass.
