I expect both Oak and Sekou get waived.

The move was all about dumping DJ and making extra room for Milsap/LMA/+ whoever we sign next.

Similar to RHJ, I like Alize a lot but unless he can shoot the 3 at least at a least average clip, he won't stick in the league.

DJ is one of the best backup bigs in the league. at 15-18 minutes a game he gives you alot. still a top rim runner and screen setter. he is also a better fit on a big team.

Montrezl Harrell
Nerlens Noel
Robert Williams
Chris Boucher
Daniel Gafford
Bobby Portis
Maxi Kleber
Nic Claxton

Those are 8 backup "bigs" who are clearly better than DJ. There are about 10 more names you could argue either way.

BTW, I'm only including guys who primarily play the 5, if I included all the bench 4's who are better than DJ we'd be here all night.

Marks is banking on Thomas, Skeou, etc... Developing into solid role players at the least; Marks can scout players he feels have potential and with the right personnel, they will get it done. Anytime, KD,Harden and Irving are on the floor or two of three, other players will have ample spacing and opportunities to perform great. Griffin had a career resurgence, Green played exceptional and Harris became the best three point shooter in the NBA, no reason Sekou and others cannot step up to the plate, perform and increase their value.
