"Darren Collison is scrimmaging with some Warriors players as he auditions for a spot on the team, writes Anthony Slater of The Athletic. The free agent guard visited the team facility Wednesday and today for workouts, which have included Stephen Curry and Jordan Poole."

That makes me think DC does want to come here, it's up to the FO to decide if he still has something left worthy of that last roster spot now.
See if he bites on a non guaranteed, then if nothing happens in the trade deadline or buyout market, guarantee him the rest of the year.

As I said before, the problem with DC is that he wanted to be a full timer. Maybe that has changed, and he’d accept being a big minute sub.

I don't believe anybody of his stature and at 34 years of age can be delusional enough to have such expectations after being out of the league and retired for two entire seasons. I'm sure he'd be happy with a chance to audition for a solid role off the bench if he's indeed serious about coming back.

DJ would be terrible here and I think he knows it too. Plus won't be given a decent role.. he's not on the radar. Alize Johnson could have been if it were way earlier in the offseason, but at this point.. unless he's willing to do a 2-way, which he shouldn't, I dont see how we could

I haven't seen that, but if Collison were to get offers from both the Lakers and Warriors, and he chose the Lakers, it means he's just ring-chasing. There's no way that he'd have the same opportunity to play there (behind Westbrook and Rondo) as he would here, where he'd be the obvious back-up to Curry.

They have Reggie Jackson, Eric Bledsoe, Winslow. Then they drafter Preston and potentially Mann can also play PG. They may not have big names, but LAC's backcourt is crowded.

Im all in for this. Gasol would be a great mentor or extra reliable body against the big teams like Lakers/6ers.
