I liked it but grown ups acting like kids but still with grown up stakes doesn't hit the same for me now as it did a few years ago.

I also watched it this weekend. It was a lot of fun. It was described by some as DC's version of Guardians of the Galaxy, which is basically correct, except it's really bloody and really inappropriate for kids (though my 12-year-old watched it), hence the R-rating. I thought it was great. And GoG is in my Marvel elite tier.

Cena's "dope as f--k" line hit RogerMurdock jr and I hard.

Also, totally hyped for Matrix. The second one was still pretty good. Third one was weird and certainly not as cool as the first two, but at least it wrapped things up.

"Only Murders in the Building" (Hulu) is a great time.

Considering how spotty the 2nd and 3rd ones were, and how generally ludicrous it is to have another one with Reeves and Moss 22 years after the original (they are 57 and 54 years old, fwiw), I am irrationally hyped for this.

It doesn't make any sense how hyped up I am to see this. Maybe it's similar to how Star Wars fans feel even after being consistently disappointed by the movies.

The original Matrix was so **** cool but I don't think I've been a fan of a single thing the Wachowski's have directed since then, including the Matrix sequels. That is tempering my expectations but still excited to see the trailer this week.

Visually it looks stunning. But I'm still a bit leery. Loved the first Matrix but the last two fell off hard for me. I'm not sure this one will do much for me either but its nice to look at.

Ooh... I'm cautiously excited. The first Matrix is probably a top 5-10 all time movie for me, the others were kinda meh, but color me intrigued. Not sure how I feel about the fake Morpheus though.

If this doesn't work out, I hope they give it to Rian Johnson.

Been a while since I've sat through a movie as bad as Voyeurs (2021 Prime), but I'm glad I stuck it out. It's terrible, but I admire the filmmakers for absolutely going for it in the film's second half. I was entertained. Five out of five smutty stars.

Working my way through Southland. It was on several years ago. I'm about 26 in out of 43 episodes. Typical cop show but I enjoy it. It was originally on NBC and then TNT. I like Michael Cudlitz and Shawn Hatosy

This looks fun but, other than the first few episodes of WandaVision, I haven’t liked any of the Marvel Disney+ shows so far.

I loved WandaVision front to back, but the rest hasn't done it for me.

My issue with Hawkeye though is that I have an unexplained disdain for Jeremy Renner.

You probably saw this while half asleep:

At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels that way. Nothing has really kept me in it and it's felt like a slog to get through some of these shows. Hawkeye looks promising, and hailee steinfeld :eyebrows:
