...also we need a commish here.
We can't agree to the trade on Yahoo because I'd be one player over the maximum allowed and I refuse to drop another player from my roster.
But DiVincenzo is IL+ eligible and I have 3 IL+ spots open. So we'll ask a commish if he can move the players manually, and DiVincenzo to my IL+ list so that it can be done.

There is no first rounders involved. The deal is for just for the players.

I think we stopped doing that several seasons ago. I do remember it but I also wouldn't be surprised if this is one of those Mandela effect where Ty tells us this never happened.

He wants to win now apparently and Kuminga won't help him anytime soon (if he even develops). Only thing holding it up is he can't take back 3 players as it current stands unless Ty addresses it

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 8
Yeah. Prize is Kuminga but it's still a very high question mark on him.
First of all he needs a trade. He's never sniffing full fledged value in San Francisco, even 3 years from now, let alone now.
He needs court time badly. Then he needs to sort his efficiency out, low FT%, low FG%, low 3 pointers and high turnovers is not getting it done fantasy wise more often than not, if the other cats are not elite.
Funny this sounds like Barnes as well, but Barnes has elite potential in rebounds, assists, steals and blocks at the very least to compensate for the others. We'll see.
I like Moses but apparently the rest of the league doesn't. Has a very manageable contract, 1.8 mil per year for the next 3 years.
Still was traded like a wet sock from the Thunder who didn't even have a C on their roster at the time of the trade(got Favors after that). Traded again from the Celtics for nothing basically. That was a major question mark for me, how can teams get rid of him so easily at the contract he's signed on, if he's any good?
And from the comments of other posters who saw the Thunder play, most of them think he sucks especially on offense.
He might have been another SGM, there are those every year(Khyri Thomas, Brissett, etc). He was played 25+ minutes on numerous occasions, the guy is 7'3, of course he's putting up some stats.
He's still young and might errupt at some point. But then again, we're not in the 7'3 centers era anymore, he can just as well be out of the league when his contract is up.
Dallas had a ton of bigs and they won't even play Boban almost at all, and he's better than Brown. He was on my drop list for awhile now.
I still have 9 players under the age of 22, thought about balacing it out a little bit. I'm in a moderate rebuild, I still want to win matchups badly.

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 8
Since the trade has officially been processed, just some thoughts on my end:
Kawhi's long-term health was definitely a concern for me. I think he'll be able to come back either late in the year or next season, but load management will be an even bigger issue then it has been even before this latest major injury. His availability question marks late in the season around league playoff time was also something that I took into consideration. Love the player, but felt it was time to move on.
LeVert is a solid all-around player who should play well under Carlisle. He is not without injury concerns himself, but there will be opportunities for increased usage with how injury prone some of their other players are (Brogdon, Warren, Turner, etc...).
OG is probably the most intriguing piece to me in this deal. We know what we're getting from him defensively, but his offensive game is coming nicely as well. I feel he's a guy who could really breakout next year and he still has plenty of prime years ahead of him as he's still only 24.
As far as the picks go, I figure if I can be competitive, it might be a small drop down draft-position wise.

Wtf are you doing with your roster Optms? First you trades Lebron in pursuit of youth, then you trade two young assets for a load management king fresh off an acl tear. What's the logic here?

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 8

I can afford to wait 2-3 years before he's back to playing back-to-backs since I'm officially tanking (For one player that I really want). Kawhi also just turned 30. And he's got the type of game that should age well (Just like Curry), just not the body, lol. There's risk involed, sure, but I'm going to be patience and remain optimistic. I also didn't trade any of my core piece like LaMelo, Curry, JJJ or even a 1st to get him.
As for OG and LeVert - Great pieces to have. But I reminded myself that I picked them both up from the wire over the years. They are midround type of guys who you can find on rare occasion if you can spot the talent before everyone else does. And of course remain patient. I plan to do a ton of player evaluation this upcoming year, trying to get the next OG or LeVert before the rest of you guys catch on. Hell, I once had players like Covington, Marcus Smart, Dillon Brooks and Robert Williams on the roster and passed on other guys like Rozier, Robinson and Derrick White because I had Lebron and Chris Paul's old ass on the roster. So I needed players that could produce ASAP. But now I can be more patient. I'll pick up another OG or LeVert. 100%
