Wouldn't mind the edginess if made any sense

Klay, a guy most had tabbed as a Korver type, was getting to the rim extremely well but was having trouble finishing. Those people wanted him to stop driving altogether, and would have kneecapped a great player

Same people didnt like Steph's showboating of his elite handles.. elite handles that he didnt have when he stepped into the league.

Draymond does everything well but shoot and keep his temper... booooo

Iguodala chose not to score all the time in the regular season.... trade him!

Poole had a bad rookie season where he was a top scoring option in one of the weirdest seasons ever... bust

If there was logic behind these things, thats cool, but its often just reactionary and nonsensical BS

Klayups and gq statpad are some of the better nicknames.

I had forgotten about Klayups. I don't expect to ever love a any Warrior like I've loved Steph, Klay and Draymond for the last 10 years ever again. They're so wonderfully different but they complement each other so well. What a team. What a time we've lived through.

I still have nightmares of rookie/soph Klay attempting to dribble the ball.

I’ll never forget the stat that came up one game where the Bob and Jim said Klay went through an entire road trip without attempting any free throws lol.

Let's just clone Steph and Kuminga, and run with a 3 Steph lineup.

Great video, thanks for posting. I agree with all the observations made.

One thing I'm really excited about is Kuminga's size/speed combo. He's a long striding athlete which sometimes makes me nervous. Long striders have a tendency to get off balance and out of control but Kuminga has such good balance and foot speed that he's never falling when faced with a sudden misdirection on defense. He's able to use his long strides to recover effectively. The defense he played in this video is what a young Lebron looked like when he took it upon himself to be a defensive stopper.

My bold prediction is that Kuminga is going to be the best big wing in basketball once Lebron/KD/Kawhi/PG/Butler are well past their prime. He doesn't have the slick offensive repertoire of Tatum but he's a more powerful and dynamic athlete.

So, presumably, you would have opposed drafting Hakeem Olajuwon - who didn't play basketball until he was 15 years old?

Kuminga didn't grow up with basketball? Maybe do some research before posting.

That first link is a heck of a story. Especially when someone claims he's not motivated, or doesn't have the drive he needs, or whatever. Geez.

Do you think that is equivalent to Steph and Klay's upbringing?

There are a lot of guys who are excellent basketball players who don't have that upbringing.

Also, your comment was about preferring guys who grew up with basketball. Are you saying that having an NBA dad is a requirement for "growing up with basketball"?

You had a bad take, and should have done more research, and got called on it. Don't dig deeper, just move on. I've posted plenty of lousy takes on this board. Never did me any good trying to spray perfume on them after they blew up in my face.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.
