I really enjoy this discussion of Madar and the highlights. Is there a French fan here who can do the same for Begarin?

None of this matters until he puts on a significant amount of weight. Kid is a toothpick

Yeah, all of his skills pretty much negated for want of a few pounds. Skinny players just can't find success in the NBA. Please note the sarcasm.

You do realize Chet Holmgren is projected to be a top 2 pick in the 2022 draft, right?

If Madar is a toothpick, what does that make Holmgren?

Whoever picks Holmgren next year, he's gonna be their franchise player.

being jacked helps, but it's not a requirement to make it in the NBA..

It makes Holmgren 1000x the prospect Madar ever will be. Madar couldn’t even make it through the summer league without getting injured. He’s not playing in the NBA for years until he gets on a professional diet and training regimen

So Holmgren is 1000X the prospect that Madar is? He is 7' tall and weighs 190 lbs. Nine inches taller than Madar, yet only 10 lbs heavier. I imagine your estimation then regarding Holmgren's prospects are not based on his weight. What then? As for Madar getting injured in SL, what does that have to do with his game? Anyway, I feel confident that you are wrong about when Madar will be playing in the NBA. If you look at his scouting reports, you won't find any that say he is too skinny to play in the NBA. You know, Madar is very serious about his game, and he already is participating in a training regimen. He's young, and I'm sure he is aware that putting on some weight is needed.

LOL, if you think Holmgren is a string bean, take a look at Victor Wembanyama who will be the No. 1 pick whenever he decides to enter the draft.

lol you're a clown. Injuries can happen at any time to anybody.

Madar suffered a groin injury in summer league - that has nothing to do with being a (as you called it) "toothpick"

It was an incidental injury - has nothing to do with his strength or conditioning - he's now back on the court playing great for his new team in Europe.

What Makes Holmgren 1000x the prospect Madar will ever be? What? Holmgren is even more of a toothpick than Madar is.

Josh Giddey rolled his ankle 5 mins into his first summer league game - guess you think he's gonna be a bust too? lol

Exactly.

Look at Brandon Ingram's frame. Ja Morant. Lamelo Ball. BJ Boston. Ziaire Williams. Holmgren. Wembanyama. These guys are flat out ballers and they're skinny.

Again, being jacked helps but it is not a requirement to make it in the NBA.

I watched one of his games last season. WOW. Dude is beyond impressive. Should be a top 5 pick.
Glad he is going to Gonzaga. Him and Drew Timme are going to be super fun to watch.

Yeah Holmgren is really freaking good. Gonna be fun to watch him develop next few yrs. He's definitely gonna be a top 5 pick in next year's draft.

I just realized, you know who Madar reminds me of? Our last point guard. Kemba Walker. Plays with the same pace. Same feistiness. Similar jumpshot. Yam's obviously a little taller but I get the same vibe watching Madar.
