I really don't know what to make of this season. I think we will likely be a better football team, with perhaps a worse record.

Brutal schedule, gauntlet of great quarterbacks we are facing.

Hilarious how Washington fans keep falling into this trap.

The Snyder curse will live on.

Ref missed that face mask penalty. WFT has to settle for 3.

Chargers ST has been a weakness in the past.

When you fumble at your own goal line that is just a gift TD.

I think another problem was being unable to really scout their offense.

Where was Riverboat Ron when we needed him? Should've gone for it in the 4th.

Not good.

The same injury that ended Bo Jackson's career.

Really disappointing game.

Much hyped defense had no answers. And the mistakes reminded me of the Gruden era.

The combination of four man rushes and zone defense without much pressing receivers at the line was deadly. We got picked apart all day.

Hate to see Fitzy hurt but from a strictly football perspective, it’s a positive. The offense is better with Heinicke in there and we have to see if he’s the next Kurt Warner or John Beck.

In today’s NFL, and if you can keep a competent offense to 20 points, your D did it’s job (although I agree that the defense was generally disappointing).

The offense simply is going to be a work in progress until midseason. There are new starters at multiple positions, new qbs, injuries, and an offensive line that starts a rookie. These first few weeks are going to be a struggle until the team settles into a groove.

Snyder is bad juju for Quarterbacks. Or perhaps it goes back even further. Some kind of Powhatan curse. Back beyond Joe Theismans shattered femur. Past the superbowls that can only be won when the starting QB goes down. Keep away, keep away from the Snyder Raljon RFK curse. Before they get the name changed they should call an exorcist. Shoot, a spiritual cleansing may be the only thing that could drive Snyder away from the team. A karmic enema like.

Game Day !

I hope Gibson’s shoulder let’s him hang on to the ball. Tonight would be a great time for our running backs to rack up some yards on the ground. Take some pressure off Heinicke and OL pass protection

Barkley active.

I thought it was a pretty blatant holding call on the giants on the Daniel Jones run. A similar call was made against Washington in week 1 IIRC

Post game thoughts

Week 1 it wasnt on Del Rio.... Week 2 its on him. Every time we blitzed we created opportunities. We. Need. To. Bring. More. Pressure. That being said Chase Young so far as been underwhelming Year 2

Offensive thoughts.... Whatever Drew Brees is doing right now, we need to hire him as an offensive/QB coach ASAP. Taylor Heinicke is a couple inches taller than Brees but he plays like he's 5'9. He needs to be more confident in his reads. You saw that in the first half with overthrows, and in the second half with overcompensating with underthrows. He needs a short quarterback whisperer!!
