Not the son of David. The other one.

I'm guessing they signed Robinson because Waters wasn't interested in another 2 way.

Someone get me excited about Robinson, I don't see much there.

Up there with Justin James with the most boring names we could have signed. That's my contribution.

If you're getting a really short scorer then why not Mike James?
Also KK Buducnost is in Montenegro not Ukraine :vent:

Don't know why we have this weird affinity for midget guards recently (Frank Mason, Augustin, Waters, Robinson) despite the fact that Bud's always prioritized size defensively from the position.

He's a really good G League player, played with Jemerrio last year so there's going to be some familiarity there. Herd are looking good so far.

Eric Nehm answered some questions about extending Donte and / or Allen:

When taking a look at a possible contract extension for DiVincenzo (or Grayson Allen), their peer group will include shooting guard types that are not seen as quite tall enough to be seen as a “big wing.” This past offseason, that group included Lonzo Ball (four years, $80 million), Alex Caruso (four years, $37 million), Hamidou Diallo (two years, $10.4 million), Josh Hart (three years, $37.9 million), Talen Horton-Tucker (three years, $30.8 million), Norman Powell (five years, $90 million), David Nwaba (three years, $15 million), Garrett Temple (three years, $15.5 million) and Gary Trent Jr. (three years, $51.8 million).

DiVincenzo and Allen have both contributed more than players like Diallo and Nwaba in their NBA careers, so the floor for a contract extension for either player is pretty easily at least $5 million per year. On the other hand, neither has shown the ability to handle primary offensive playmaking or scoring possessions like the top earners like Ball, Powell, or Trent Jr. From the group above, Josh Hart, 26, and Alex Caruso, 27, are probably the best comparisons for both players, but neither quite capture the full picture. Last season, DiVincenzo, 23, started more games (66) in his third NBA season than Hart has started in all four of his NBA seasons combined (65) and while Caruso is a more impactful defender coming off the bench for a contender, he doesn’t score nearly as much as DiVincenzo (6.4 vs. 10.4 points per game).

Naysayers critique every contract and believe every team has overpaid players, but it would be shocking to see whoever will be negotiating DiVincenzo’s contract shy away from using a player like Hart as the starting point for his contract negotiations. Use the Villanova connection and the $12.6 million per year figure (even if there are non-guaranteed dollars in it), remind the Bucks that DiVincenzo is two years younger than Hart and even a poor negotiator could say the floor for an extension is already something like four years, $50 million.

With that context in mind, I think both parties are in a tough spot on a possible contract extension for DiVincenzo before the Oct. 18 rookie-scale extension deadline. If DiVincenzo is not out on the floor for preseason games, the Bucks will have not seen DiVincenzo play since the injury and might be hesitant giving out a significant amount of guaranteed money. On the other side, DiVincenzo might believe he could prove to be worth even more if he was out on the floor. So while accepting a contract extension near the floor of his worth might provide financial security as he works back from an injury, DiVincenzo may think he could make even more if he proves healthy and capable when he returns to the floor.

I think many Bucks fans are right to believe Allen is a nice insurance plan for DiVincenzo. Whether to protect themselves from DiVincenzo’s injury or a contract negotiation gone wrong, Allen, 25, can provide many of the same things as DiVincenzo on the floor and that helps alleviate some of the potential stress surrounding DiVincenzo’s situation. But I also see the same overlap in their skills and potential role with the Bucks, so I understand the idea of potentially trading one of the two players at the deadline. The only problem with trading either player at the deadline is the fact that you’ve eliminated the insurance plan by the time you get to the offseason when it would be most valuable, so that makes it tougher to imagine the Bucks trying to move either player during the season.

Looks like 2 of our 5 preseason games are on TNT including the opener against the Griz on 10/5
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

At this point we probably hope that Pat picks up that $5.7 million player option next offseason, right?

I was wrong on Bobby doing the team a favor, but Pat doing that would blow my mind.

Ddv is a lil better with more upside but I’ll pay Pat before I pay ddv. His ability to play 2-4 is so valuable and they’re the same caliber of shooter and while ddv is a better ball handler/passer/off the dribble shooter, Pat is sneaky better at attacking close outs just because he can actually finish at the rim without having to be wide open. Add in health and him most likely being cheaper, it would be an easy decision for me.

DDV is a better defender, younger, and will most likely improve a lot more whereas Pat is pretty close to a finished product.
still learning the game
