2K is a nice baseline for talent range but obviously teams won't and shouldn't overreact unless their teams are constantly ass or out of the playoffs when they thought they'd be a playoff team. Even then BAF might be diff. I'm counting on the nuances of playstyle stuff in BAF, depth because of the ticky tack injuries, more tinkering with lineups in BAF that will add some more wins to my team. West is tough this year so being top 6 for any of us besides Smash/Deez/Pooch will be a battle. But even they can struggle a bit if one of their top guys go down.

I can see some potential differences between BAF and 2K. They are mostly due to depth and the 1st/2nd tier players. Its going to be interesting to see what happens with Bagley, Bey, Harris, KP, Nunn, and Zion in BAF.

If things fall right, I could have a top 5 offense in the league.

i did one last 2k simulation. i think 4 sims should be enough to see any trends/outliers. and before anyone else overreacts to this, these sims are used to just give a preview of the next season. nothing more and can be entirely off compared to the actual BAF season.

bulls got in the playoffs thru the play in and took me to 7 games in the first round

had me shook when i was simulating it

one thing i can say from these sims is that the west is crazy. this time the mavs came out of the west

Pretty happy with the SIM results, kind of what I expect my current rotation to do. Depending on how the BAF season starts I may use some of my depth pieces to grab a win now player if it improves a position of weakness.

But it looks like Avoiding a first and second round match up vs the Cavs would be the ideal situation to see if another team like the Bulls, Pacers, Nets or Magic can beat him, maybe even the SiM sixers can pull off a upset and do the dirty work for me.

I was hating 2K after my embarrassing beatdown at the hands of the Pacers last week, but I'm warming up to these full season sims

In BAF though, I think (as of now) I'm a 3-5 seed in the East who could easily be ousted in the first round. However, I could go either way midseason. I have 3 tradeable 1st round picks if an opportunity comes up and the timing seems right to push all-in and I have some nice not too expensive, starter quality bench pieces outside of my core to deal to contenders if I decide to build up some more future draft assets.

Hey! I've made 3 out of 4 ECF. I know these sims are ulitimately meaningless and don't count for anything but at least give me this and don't rain on my parade! :lol:

I haven't played 2K (or video games in general) in years but this next gen looks enticing. Graphics looks sick but gameplay still looks trash at least in 2K especially the shot selections.

it's 4/4 times. i dont mind seeing myself lose. i don't really have anything to prove at this point. i almost lost to the bulls in the last sim

e-balla also used a different sim for all the teams and he said i won every time as well. i think randle's all star season made me really tough to beat now since i have him as my 6th man

Yeah I noticed this too. Maybe they improve on the gameplay in the next couple years now that they have more time to work with the new gen systems
