I am glad Paul Watson Jr. landed another NBA shot. OKC will likely give him minutes which likely allows him to showcase his skill. I would not be surprised him getting a quick 3 year deal once they see him on court. The guy has talent to be a rotation player.

Like Oshae, I am not sure why Toronto gave up on him. The guy is athletic, good size and can score from three levels. Not a bad defender either - but I guess they wanted to go with Ish Wainright.

Interestingly, Wainright is a few months older than Waston. Curious why they opted for a guy with less NBA experience. Must be the Africa basketball connection that swayed their decision.

Wainwright looks better than PWJ in my books

I think both players are entirely different. PWJ is swingman/guard and Wainwright looks like a small ball center/4 man in a small man lineup - dude is built

Well no he's not a 5 or a small ball 5. He is a pf/sf tho who will operate from the wing spot and ask to hit 3s and play defense similar to PWJ. I just think he's better suited for the things what we wanna do.

I think you will see him in some cases - the PJ Tucker role. Which is a small ball center. Won’t be huge minutes in that lineup but I can see him bodying up big men the way OG already does.

Sucks that Kawhi wanted to go home more than win another ship

and 35 year old Lowry for that matter. But that's all media driven and why the Raptors are not a FA destination. We need more Raptors propaganda from espn etc.

Lol, you can quote me. I don't mind one bit. If he is like this at 35...man...he was severely underrated in his career. Wow. I'm not sure if it's because I'm not used to seeing true point guards on the heat, but sheesh. He does everything right and is always in the right spots making the right decisions and pushing tempo to keep the defense on their heels. Been two preseason games and I am absolutely in love.

I really wish Kawhi stayed with you guys. You would have torched the bubble and repeated. Did not know this is what he was capable of and he's not trying to score, but he can if he wants to. It's bonkers.

Enjoy my friend. He is an absolute beauty. And don't let anyone tell you different - he has been a true elite player for a long time now.

Greatest Rap of all time by far and we're all cheering for him to win with you guys too.

Man, top 10 pick. Great dude. Can shoot ... sometimes. Can pass. Can defend. Not sure what the problem is?

Can't shoot, not a good play-maker, mediocre rebounder, defense not as good as advertised.

This season, more than any other, will prove that Lowry is the GROAT and deserves a statue in front of the scotiabankA.
