Kenneth Faried Works Out For Lakers

Kenneth Faried is working out for the Los Angeles Lakers this week. 

Faried last played in the NBA during the 18-19 season with the Houston Rockets. Faried played for the Portland Trail Blazers during Summer League this year, averaging 5.7 points and 8.3 rebounds in 18.6 minutes.

Faried also played in seven games in China during the 19-20 season.

He's 6'8" and can't shoot, tweener who can't guard perimeter but also gets outsized by traditional bigs and isn't a great defensive rebounder. Elite offensive rebounder and a good hustle guy in his prime. I could see him doing ok as a end of the bench practice/glue guy for the Lakers and could be a good guy to step in and play limited minutes if Montrezl Harrell gets hurt, since he used to be a bit like a poor man's Harrell.
