He makes too much and nobody has cap space. Houston gonna have to eat a lot of bad contracts.
East #1 Draft Picks: Fultz, Banchero, Wiggins, Cuninigham
West #1 Draft Picks: Edwards, WIlliamson, Ayton, Towns

With those three parties working together they should get something done. Shams has a lot of connections.

Who is going to take that ridiculous contract though?
No one is going to take Wall unless multiple first round picks are attached.
Maybe the Rockets are just trying to make Wall understand that he has no market, and if he wants out, he should do a buy out.

Do the Rockets want to pay even $30-35 million to buy him out, though? I heard their owner is cheap.

By giving up a 1st round pick for the 2nd worst contract in the league?
He isn’t second worst. It’s also a year shorter than walls. Which we also flipped. Trading wall now will bring back far less than a Westbrook

His alternative is to pay him $44.3m this season, and $47.4m next season, and watch him play.

Why not swap him for Rubio and Love? Total salary is about the same but at least Rubio expires this year saving you 17 million next year. And Love would be a much cheaper buyout than Wall.

Everyone knows ben Simmons has zero trade value. If I’m the sixers, I would trade Simmons for wall. Wall is a better fit with embiid and he only has two years left on his contract.
That’s the best offer Morey is going to get.

I don't understand why he wouldn't play. Show that you're worth being traded for. And from the Rockets point of view, we're going to pay you, but you don't have to play games, just practice.

he obv wants to play thats why he wants to get traded. If FO tells you that you are a big risk to the tank, thats a really good sign.

92M over 2 years, jeez. Only team i can see taking that on (with draft compensation) is the Thunder but i can't see Wall wanting to go to another rebuilding team.

I don't think Wall accepts anything close to that. He's owed 92M, why would agree to 1/3 of that?

Why would the Cavs do that trade then? Makes even less sense since they have Garland/Sexton.

I don't think that Wall will get the Rockets many wins. He's a below average starting point guard at this point.

I doubt it will be hard to trade a good player with a reasonable contract.

Re: Shams wall and rockets working together to be traded
I think he's more likely to sit the whole season (or two) than to be traded. Way too much money to move or be bought out of.
