I really don't see how Freddie G (unguaranteed) and Dekker can make this roster, but they're fun guys to have around. "Scotland" Barnes indeed.

It's not like some massive district  You clear it in 10 minutes.

Dragic can help us. Glad to see him acclimating.

camp hasn't started yet. but dude is getting cut imho unless he shows out. there seems to be a lot more talented players on this team than Freddie.

Agreed. I was hoping the Mavs trade for Brown/Powell would put an end to Gillespie. It's a nice story and all but he is not an NBA calibre player yet.

Nah, downtown TO is too big to wonder around in. Too much boring on the way to the fun parts. Especially when you can easily afford an Uber. But maybe they've been told to avoid confined spaces with strangers.

Help us with what? We would have tried harder to keep Lowry around if we were thinking in that direction. Hope Dragic is out the first chance we get for both sides.

Tbh, I wouldn't be shocked if Dekker made the rotation. If he starts making shots, it's going to be hard to say no.

Trying to make Luka jealous.

This is meant to make the Mavs feel some FOMO and start offering up a decent trade package.

Just goes to show how much a narrative can take on a life of its own and be completely overblown.

Really, this is just consistent with everything I've read about Dragic on the Heat board and elsewhere. Good teammate, selfless, works hard, sacrifices etc. I don't think he stated anything unusual be saying he hoped to have landed with a contender, but he's a professional by all accounts.

Yeah I'm not surprised at all. People took a few statements and ran with it. Even after he immediately issued an apology to the City and the franchise and expressed his desire to stay in Toronto people just kept bashing him. Its ridiculous. And now people are surprised he's getting acclimated... Well if you stopped and listened to what he was ACTUALLY saying and not twisting his words into your thoughts then this wouldn't surprise you.

Help us with what?

Building winning culture.
Shooting.
Scoring.
Mentorship.

That's an assumption.

That's the thing, Dragic is 10M cheaper. If you take 10 mill off this squad, that's like the equivalent of Boucher and Flynn.

If Dragic looks good, we can make room for him going forward. Maybe at a discount, if not he can be converted to a decent first.

Whose that guy that got drafted after Barton? I think I saw him at the background of one of those photos - like a Sasquatch.

Big fan of Dragic. Hoping we don’t tank. If Barnes is for real, Siakam’s shooting can be restored, OG and Fred can be suitable 3rd options, I’m good with this core.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.
