I know prolly no one would have the heart to do it (due to politics), but I would love to see a GM ranking to gather how GMs evaluate the performance of their peers.

I don’t think jewelry says enough, much the way I don’t like that argument IRL either. Like how the media created the false narrative that players can only be judged by their amount of rings or lack thereof.

That mindset is what created the “team up” mentality amongst players IRL in the first place, that most have come to dislike. Those feelings have now permeated over to places like here, where actual team-building is now clowned as if there is something wrong with a team-oriented approach, and now star-phuccing at all costs is the only model that matters.

Does anyone have the balls to post a 30-GM rank assessment? It would make for interesting discussion between the off-days of the bubble tourney.

One thing is for sure, the league reset will test GMs mettle regardless, cuz most won’t be able to field their current roster without mass turnover, and will be forced to construct almost an entirely new team. GMs who have contending teams now will be tested to show they can do it again with a different recipe.

i think rather than a 30-GM rank, it should be a grading system (the teacher in me).


because ranking has to be tough, as we have a lot of new GMs who are doing it for the first time, taken over great teams, taken over **** teams.


should grade each GM based on: where they were last year, and what they've done so far

I've held myself back from chasing stars unless they fit a certain age group, with Kawhi being the exception. Kind of went out of my element and inquired about him today. I've tried to create my own personal challenges where I've ducked the early development teenage prospects as well as avoided max guys in their 30s and stuck to that in between age group where guys aren't bad enough to tank but not good enough to contend. I love a good underdog story and while we still got ways to go in Denver, I love where we are headed.

Most of you OG who are still in it had early access to all these superstars. Of course a lot of you played bad owners and scrambled with overpays. Which is why there are so many contracts of 400 a year and more.

Lets see who learned their lesson on the reset. But right now I see a lot of horrible contracts out there that people are responsible for. So don't tell me what I was gifted; when a lot of you had access to the entire player pool at one time or another.
