Re: Tracking Former Wizards 3.0
Word from Houston is that John's been terrific -- totally solid, works with the young players, supportive of coaches & FO, & in general just a solid citizen.
John's net worth is North of $100m, & he's still owed $92m of which I imagine at least $30m would contribute to growing that net worth (it also grows on its own, obviously). IOW, he's a very rich human being. Good for him.
Most of his life is ahead of him as well -- including most of the most important experiences he'll have as a human being. John has done well. Kudos to him.

I would still feel like OKC might play the rehab. Game with him. One a one year deal a healthy wall moving at full tilt isn't as big of an albatross as we think, next summer.

Admiral's got a job -- the Magic have signed Schofield to... some kind of a contract. Maybe just a camp deal. Wish him well!

I’m sure he did bust his ass, that’s what he’s known for, but a TS of 45.2% in the G with pedestrian supporting numbers doesn’t exactly scream NBA player.

He never at any time looked like an NBA player when he was with us, he probably just a camp body for Orlando

Could be 10-15 years of prison for each of them similar to Clinton Portis.
Former Wizards include Alan Anderson and Will Bynum.

Wizards legend Alan Anderson. I remember being kind of happy when we signed him, but then he was of course terrible and injured.

Re: Tracking Former Wizards 3.0
Speaking of Wizards who AREN'T in the news- I still can't believe Houston would prefer to pay Wall $48 million this year not to play. Even when he's perfectly healthy.
It would take Tommyx2 to be able to trade Wall from a situation like this. He's not in game shape. And there's got to be questions about his health also if he's out.
Why would Houston do this?
1. To tank better? That should be pretty outrageous to the rest of the league. It takes intentional losing to a whole new level. I thought teams weren't supposed to do that (my bad).
2. Because he's a bad influence or they don't like his style of play?

Re: Tracking Former Wizards 3.0
Honestly if anything it's good for wall. He gets to rear his body for a season and when he finally get bought out or traded next season. He might be able to come in with a fresh body and get a couple good seasons at the end of his career. I still look at wall to Philly as a big possibility at this point. Ben value has tanked so low it might be a markable trade.Endless Loop wrote:Speaking of Wizards who AREN'T in the news- I still can't believe Houston would prefer to pay Wall $48 million this year not to play. Lakers.
If there's any possibility of a three-way deal it's gonna go down.lf LeBron give his blessing Russell could end up in OKC or with the Clippers...
I would say Brooklyn but Westbrook hates KD.
Wall will play somewhere this season IMHO.

Finally healthy, Warriors Otto Porter Jr is out-playing his contract.

Paywall, but the headline says it all. I had buried Grimace for dead, he is playing scant minutes, but they are pleased

The Cs for the Warriors are Kevon Looney, Nemanja Bjelica, Otto Porter and Draymond Green
