Simmons+Thybulle for Brown+Schroeder+Juancho
Pritchard, Thybulle, Tatum, Simmons, Horford -- Smart, Romeo, J-Rich, Parker, RW3 -- Edwards, Nesmith, GWill, Bruno, Kanter
Hard pass.
Simmons cratered his value and Brown's is still on the rise. Think Philly fans would have to agree there is a significant gap between the two at this stage. Thybulle is a beast defensively, but with Smart on the roster you really don't need a 2nd defensive bulldog wing that doesn't do much damage defensively. So while he's got more value than Schroder/Juancho, the fit counteracts that to an extent (plus Schroder at his current cost is a few weeks of good play from being a solid asset himself) and the overall package still feels like it leans heavily towards Philly's favor (especially in the context of Ben asking out and the awkwardness forcing their hand to some extent).
I'd absolutely trade for Simmons, but wouldn't touch Brown/Tatum to do it, which basically kills it dead from the jump.
