Tannehill leaves coach Adam Gase? Tannehill has success in Tennessee.
Sam Darnold leaves Adam Gase? Carolina panthers 2-0. How on earth some guys get coaching jobs in simply mind boggling.

Cowboys beat the Chargers because of this…what a ridiculous call. Then they called Herbert down when he got rid of the ball well before being sacked.
Jerry Jones is a douchebag who likes to flex his billions and put every ref in his pocket. Too bad his team is barely good enough to even make playoffs and will be out 2nd round at most.
Ugly win for Dallas TBH.
That game was also way more defensive than anyone thought it would be.
I don't think anyone saw a flag on that play until after the taunting in the end zone and then you heard about an illegal shift. Obviously if that isn't called (whoever it was on...they never even named the player), they win, going up 21-17, since the Cowboys won 20-17 on a 56 yard fg. The Chargers made enough mistakes and penalties to lose, but the refs shouldn't have made it tougher like they did. Anyway, hopefully the Chargers clean some stuff up for the future with the penalties and turnovers...but other unlucky stuff like Keenan Allen falling down in the end zone resulting in an int in the end zone, stopping ANOTHER td, and then the FG hitting the uprights.
You are right, ugly win for Dallas. But they did get unlucky last week with no offensive pass interference call on the last drive/play before TB's GW fg....not as bad of a no call/call as the illegal shift, but bad.

I usually take the points with big spreads like that. Can't remember who I took. I can easily see GB coming back big this week with a monster performance and winning big.
However, Rodgers and GB looked SO off last week (and this was against Winston and company who just got their butts kicked) that I think it's kind of stupid NOT to just take the points, but i am not sure I would bet a lot on it.
In one respect, I can say taking the points and even if GB gets straightened out and wins, it might only be by 7 or 10, and you still win. On the other hand, GB CAN be good enough based on last year and Detroit bad enough for it to be a blowout.
Detroit looked bad last week until kind of coming back on a prevent defense to make it look more respectable.
Does Detroit have it in them to keep it close even if GB gets back to close to last year's form?
I just don't know if Rodgers can/will...he looked SO uncharacteristic last week that I can't decide if it was an anomaly or if he just didn't really care at all coming into the season and while he's probably not actively dogging it, he's just not as into it.

Looking back at my contest picks, I took the Lions +10.5. I had also taken the Ravens +3.5 and the Colts +3.5 when I submitted my picks Thursday.

That's actually exactly what I was thinking. I just don't think GB will be able to 'turn it on' and look amazing tonight. It wouldn't shock me if they looked way better, say week 8, but I don't think tonight.

Tampa Bay calls up Richard Sherman. Dunno if he's answered though. Point being, this was always my concern with the Buccs. Very very thin. Once a key guy goes down, it's a major impact due to lack of depth. Sherman with the Seahawks? Awesome. Sherman right now? Blown coverage waitin to happen.

Sherm has some personal demons that he's dealing with. That's why he remains unsigned.

When I used to go to sports bars I'd end up talking to some good looking female super fan...seems like the Bears have the most of them (not counting the Cowboys of course since I'm in Austin, but I'd never talk to them if I could help it...all Cowboys fans are annoying "how bout dem Cowboys!?!"
Anyway, always would think after hanging out with one on a Sunday how nice it would be to end up with a girl like that.
