I hope the husband and kids have a good support system.
For the sake of decency, please don't post the name/pics of the woman here for the sake of her kids. If you have already, please delete it.

For most people who pull this type of crap at his age, it isn't the first time.
Makes you wonder what really happened during his very short tenure in Dallas.

What's a bit disturbing is that a random guy on twitter had this all the way back on July 29 from "sources", it was apparently public knowledge inside target center, and Rosas gets fired nearly 3 months later.
So either someone wasn't telling the big guy(s) what was going on or they were willing to sweep it under the rug until some incident on saturday that doogie referred to. Probably some very public PDA.

Crazy. Dude had like 50 Twitter followers before today but nailed the story months ago. If he’s correct and Gupta walked in on them. Oh my. Awful and I can see how that would be considered toxic.

As much as this whole thing sucks for the team and can be very disruptive, if this is the kind of bloke Rosas is then we're better off without him as an organisation. Really **** thing to put two families through, good riddance.

RE: the insider knowledge, I guess that one could argue there's a difference between office scuttlebutt and something actually being determined to be factual to the point that you can actually remove one (two?) people from their positions within the team. It sounds like the ownership actually launched some kind of internal investigation which lead to interviews with staff etc. Just because people some people in the organisation knew/suspected there was funny buggers going on doesn't mean that ownership or people further up the chain were aware.

Well most modern companies would have put him on Paid Leave pending investigation right away, minimum, for suspicion of having sex with a subordinate.
They apparently didn't do that because Rosas has made plenty of moves since July 29 and the 2 have been seen together at Twins games this month. My guess is no one had the balls to tell Papa Glen.

Happy to be corrected but based on who the suggested employee is, I'm not sure reporting lines would have had her reporting in to Rosas.

I would assume Communications, Marketing, Fan Relation (etc) VPs wouldn't full under basketball operations, but I could be wrong.

Damn, the more the story unfolds the worse it gets for Rosas. A lot of folks coming out to defend his character, but the truth is- some of the nastiest people can have the nicest and caring facade, making it would be near impossible to see through to their true character. I don't know him personally so I can't judge his character to a full degree, but alls I can say is that if it's true what he did, then good riddance. Now let us move forward.

Damn she’s married and has kids too.

Married people cheating with other married people

It’s more common than you might think. 15% of married women and 25% of married men have infidelity. So if the Wolves organization has 40 married men, then on average 10 would have an extra marital affair at some point.

What a depressing statistic.

Based on Jon K's article it sounds like Rosas was already wandering towards thin ice for multiple reasons and this event might have just hastened the process.

Has anyone called Merc_Perto?

Can't have an affair with a subordinate, that is a MASSIVE liability risk for the organization if things go awry.

We would have McDaniels or Bolmaro with 22, plus pick 34 that we traded away, its feasible we could still have both with a little maneuvering.

I don’t care about feasible. It’s feasible if we take either at 22 then whoever was originally at 23 would have take the other.

So would I rather have Beasley, Bolmaro, and McDaniels or Capella and Bolmaro. Yea I’m going the first every day.

You are not forbidden to make trades on draft day. They could've had Capella and McDaniels.

Capella would've instantly fixed this teams worst weakness. Look at how much Atlanta improved with him.

Who said you are forbidden from making trades on draft day? Then they wouldn’t have Bolmaro and no guarantee if even having McDaniels. Hindsight is always wonderful tool when you get to ignore all the variables that could have changed by making different trades and different scenarios happening draft day.

I am just saying if they really wanted McDaniels there was always a way to get him.
It's not like he was drafted in the top 5 picks.
He was picked 28th. Those late 1st picks are always available if you are willing to pay enough for them.

No reason to think that choosing Capella over Turner would've automatically meant McDaniels never gets to the Wolves.

Perhaps it’s not so much the affair as the fact that rumors were spreading about it over the last month and those that worked within the org list confident in him. It creates a culture problem. Had he been a more established front office head and Wolves were competing for a title, then I think he would have survived this. But new guy coming off a disappointing season? See ya.
