Totally forgot the Panthers have Derrick Brown. This guy was the most disruptive force in the SEC at DTackle. Powerful Vita Vea type

CMC is so freaking good, but just not sure he can handle this super high volume kind of role.

I hate seeing these elite RBs get hurt. They literally have a shelf life of like 4-5 years. Just doesn’t seem fair

Ya I just mean the elite RBs…like CMC will likely go from being to the best RB in football next year to being completely washed in 3 years. It’s just crazy

Does RB have the shortest shelf life in all of team sports? I can think of another position in another sport that has this short of one.

Not going to lie, the CMC injury really killed any motivation I had to watch this game. This game without CMC is really lacking any kind of star power.

I think so tbh. If I’m an elite college back - I’m playing half of my junior season and sitting out the rest of the games and declaring for the draft. Preserve as much wear and tear as possible

I guess Im what they call a "casual" haha.

This is just some bad football being played right now. Really shows how important high level QB play is in this sport.

some observations from looking at the standings after week 2:

- the whole afc north has the same record (1-1)
- falcons have a -49 point differential in two games???
- all 8 afc/nfc west teams have a positive point differential
- each nfc north team has a negative point differential, with the vikings having the best (-4)

You're gonna get kids now, who will gravitate towards playing other positions. Why choose to be a RB? When you can be a WR or be a defensive player. You won't take the same punishment & potentially have a longer career.

We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Classic rookie coaching mistake. Take the field goal. Its early in the game, you take 3 points, and less stress and wear upon the defense.
Instead, Carolina went for it early on, lost it. And that wears on a defense as the game goes on. Besides having a 10 pt cushion
