Cons - Can be injury prone (picks up niggles here and there after being durable his first two years). ACL takes two seasons. And is hugely inconsistent even at his best. Shockingly wide scoring ranges.
A lot of sub 10 games, sub 20 games, but also huge 40+ games all within a month lol. That’s RS Murray.
Playoff Murray? Different story. I think he likes the big occasion.
Murray in full flight can takeover games by himself. That’s exactly what everyone wants right?
The injury might be a blessing in disguise. Or it could be the curse that makes us TMAC/Ming 2.0.
Lillard is less risky but Murray at a discount and divergence of the Nuggets FO’s own pathway of preference might be the swing factor in the end.
Disagree tbh. In terms of his 22 year old playoffs he was on the cusp of being a tier 1 general. 26 ppg shooting 7 threes a game at >45% while getting to the line ~4x per game shooting nearly 90% from the stripe, while also giving you over 6 APG.
That's super nutty. Jamal Murray is a wonderful and special offensive talent.
