I think my long term depth will be good if they just send me Garland and Sabonis.

If Fournier and Clarkson are shooting well, Brooklyn is going to be a tough out.

Its a ridiculous eyesore because as fans we hate seeing bad losses. Bad teams experience 20 - 30 point losses all season long. In some instances it is the product they choose to serve to their fans. In others they have good players but are not quite there yet.

OKC average loss last season was by 10.6 points.
OKC average loss after the all star break was by 15.8 points.
OKC average loss for 16 games in April was by 19.4 points.
OKC average loss for 9 games in May was by 19.9 points.

OKC Splits:
https://www.nba.com/stats/team/1610612760/traditional/

Whats unusual for this league is how many teams are tanking. But blowout losses by bad teams are a every night occurrence. I. and many Hawks fans, suffered through multiple 20 - 30 point losses during their rebuild. And think about this, the last two seasons of the lottery were with Trae Young and John Collins playing great and trying to win games. So despite having two great young players the Hawks were a bad team which suffered through some horrible losses.

Bad **** happens. And for bad teams, it happens all the time in the NBA.

While I agree the sim is more important, having this other form of associated entertainment is a nice addition, especially for those who want more, or maybe they prefer live action.

Or if a team is struggling in the sim, maybe they can at least see some sort of success with 2k

Agreed.

We all understand Wolverine studio’s sim is what we use, and 2k is just for fun. But I keep seeing a trend here that I want to address. I do think it’s slightly disrespectful to Melo to keep trashing the 2k bubble games. A schedule was put in place and he is devoting HIS time (while in school) for our entertainment. Putting every roster together takes a lot of time. Some guys don’t even bother tuning in or acknowledging what he does. We should at least appreciate and respect that.

I appreciate and respect everything melo is doing. Im one of the few posting and commenting on the games every weekend even if they are a blowout because I'm doing it for melo since he's taking the time. I know what it's like to put effort into the game and mostly get negative commentary.

I just wish 2K was more competitive and unless melo is a developer for 2K I don't see it as a slight. It's a nice distraction... the games just stink for the most part. 50 pts blowouts are the norm and even for games which should be a little more competitive. That's all. I do wish more people would show up to support melo just not 2K but since the games arent competitive and unless people don't have lives like myself lol. Kids really keep you from having Friday and Saturday night plans. It's a lower turnout most nights.

Maybe as we get farther and we get teams like you and smash and melo and deeeez along with buzz along with others against each other maybe more will tune in since those should be more competitive.

We had some in the 1st round. You just have a convenient selective memory.

11:00PM- Clippers 94 @ New York 81
11:00PM- Minnesota 65 @ Philadelphia 76
11:00PM- Chicago 99 @ Memphis 110
My win over Phoenix was by 22.

I think the real problem here is some are thinking this is like a playoff. Where the top 8 teams are playing each other. In those games the expectations are higher. But this is not that by a long shot. its some of the worse teams playing some of the best. And just because a team has a good player, that really does not mean crap in the NBA. Just look at OKC with SGA and my Hawks with Trae and Collins.

I predicted a bad GSW vs Boston game; and have no clue what you expected. I also said Mitchell and Garland would need to have cheat codes to beat the Nets. Maybe I am just better at predicting outcomes than you are. But my expectations for good games last night were slim and none...

No one says you have to watch. Seriously tune in to help the ratings and go enjoy your family. I am watching movies sometimes during a bad loss.

You are always complaining. If its a bad game, do your due diligence, tune in, and go enjoy something else. Again 1st round between 30 teams/15 games and we had three decent games so far. I expect more in the 2nd round.

Y'all are being unreasonable with 2K, games with evenly matched teams have been pretty competitive and as more rounds pass games will be better. I don't understand why y'all think games like POR/Wiz, DAL/FA-team or GSW/BOS should be competitive. Overall 2K has been pretty good.

I fully expect my next game against the Clippers to come down to the last 1 to 4 minutes. I honestly think its unrealistic expectations based on this being a playoff. The word playoff and 30 teams should be taken into account for.

That average loss by OKC is average. 19.4 points is far from the worse losses their fans suffered though in April and May. Plus in the NBA, coaches take their foot off the gas. In these SIMs we keep the best lineups out there.

Its all about fun; and yes it still sucks to lose.
