Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups.

Write up:

Goodluck JR!

Kept it simple this time around. Tried to build a well balance team with 5 all stars who fit together and I feel I did that well.

KG is our catalyst. He is the defensive genius and the offensive go to guy. We built around him with a trusty defensive minded PG in Kidd. Next we wanted a PF who can defend and shoot it - allowing KG to play center. This is something we thought of right off the bat. KG at center would be disgusting. The fit with KG and Sheed is just perfect. Both can shoot it, defend it, work together, score in the post, both bring tenacity and toughness.

Next was the wings. We wanted two guys who could defend, create there own shot, and flat out shoot it. We accomplished that. Eddie Jones and Peja Stojakovic are two of the most underrated players of all time. They also fit perfectly with Kidd, KG and Sheed.

Over all we see this team as a defensive beast, who can score, that works together and fits perfectly.

We plan to slow Kobe down with Eddie Jones. We plan to slow Stockton down with Kidd. We plan to make Grant Hill work with him guarding Peja. KG and Sheed are a much better combo that Gasol and Rodman. Benches are about equal all things considered.

Vote Ness.

97 Grant Hill - 15.7
09 Pau Gasol - 12.9

Write-up:

Stockton and Kidd should cancel each other out. Kobe wins his match against EJ. Hill wins his match-up against Peja. Worm handles Sheed. Our front-court performs a group effort to contain KG. We have the better bench. We win this match-up.

Both teams are pretty well-rounded. Ness has the spacing advantage with Peja and Jones plus two quality shooting bigs, while JR counters with superior shot creation and playmaking between Stockton, Kobe, Hill, and Gasol. I'd say Ness's perimeter group fits better but doesn't have the explosive potential that JR brings to the table. Jones and Kidd is a scary defensive backcourt, but Peja guarding Hill is more of a problem for me than vice versa, although KG and Sheed provide plenty of cover at the rim. JR has a significantly better bench.

This will be a tight series in which Kobe's resilient scoring will be a crucial advantage for JR - Ness has some great all-round players but nobody I'd really trust to shoulder the load down the stretch of a close game. JR's superior depth seals the deal for me.

Madness has the better fit but I think Jr takes this with quite a bit better talent overall and the fit is still good

JR having possibly the 3 best perimeter players is hard to overcome here for me, solid bench seals it. Vote JR

Think Ness has a nice team but this matchup is bad for him. Garnett week play well but Gasol is no slouch either. The perimeter players for JR are that bit better that it is takes it for him.

Vote JR Smith.
